And I've sent all the radiator sizes to the plumber…

@greenbee - in an effort to try different types/brands of kimchi without committing myself to any one type, I bought individual packets of a variety of types the last time we were in a korean convenience store. (This does not happen often as we have to drive to one of the big coastal cities.) I found a couple of brands that I like but that are also available via online shop, so now keep a few packs at work to decorate my lunch. Also some brands of gherkins are fermented rather than pickled so a jar of those is also in the fridge at work.
What I've yet to try is the packet of 'kimchi your own' cucumber mix - instructions were all in korean, ingredients had and english sticker, but handy dandy g00gle translate told me it was super easy to do!

I quite like the taste of kimchi but what it does to my insides is horrifying … My body can't seem to get rid of it fast enough! 😕

@rtandon27 - are the individual packets still live? There's a korean supermarket fairly locally that I could try (but I do like the locally made stuff - and there's a really nice curtido too if I go to the farm shop).
@KajiKita - I'm sure you know already, but fermented foods have to be introduced slowly and carefully so your body can adapt.
I haven't eaten the kiwi fruit, but I did grab a dried fig and a few nuts during afternoon meetings. After work I had my sprout kimchi, kombucha, and smoked paprika yellow peas. Then heated up some homemade courgette curry I'd extracted from the freezer with some black beans and added a dollop of yogurt. Followed those with another of the seed/grain/yogurt/kefir/strawberry pots I made on Monday. Also lots of water.
I really do need to start adding a pot of fennel or licquorice tea to my day as well.

@greenbee - yes indeed they are! - in fact I checked with friend back across the pond who'who's husband is of Korean origin and her mother-in-law insists on packing them into the grandkids lunch boxes to make sure they get their daily dose! - grandkids are not impressed!
Have you tried yellow kiwi? We had some today and they were just lovely!

I’ve tried adding a little of fermented foods to my diet and the results are always fast and unpleasantly predictable … I have no idea why 🤷♀️

That's good to know.
Yellow kiwi has less hairy skin, so you can eat it more easily. Adds a significant amount of fibre to your diet. I've tried it with the green ones and just can't do it!

That's really annoying. Not sure how you can find out why or how to resolve it. I guess you have to focus on fibre rather than fermented foods?

Also not a fan of green kiwi but the yellow ones are delish and I do eat the skin on those.

Have never seen yellow kiwi.
