Today I am grateful for lots of sunshine, for dd trotting happily in to school, for a friend offering to take our garden waste to the tip for us, for a good fruit + veg shop in aldee, for technology, for the A team (just gotta love the way they always win!), for sorting out my trousers, for finding a beautiful and joy-sparking notebook to use for the next few months.

Thank you for October mothernerd and for all the inspiration you have given - both the quotes and your posts about what you get up to.

Hope everyones had a nice day.

I have generally just pottered but have just come back from YS shopping and got myself a few bargains :) I am on a mission to go a few times over the next few weeks to stock up again.

Finally got round to using my leftover pork in my fried rice- was yummy.

Greatful for- the lovely lady in Tesco who gave my LO a prize for his pumpkin and the nice lady who served me on the till.

Thank you for the quotes mothernerd

Not another SFD but only chiropractor so it’s not as if I spent it on rubbish.

Not much else to report, not enjoying the darker evenings but the lighter mornings are nice.

Thank you for all the kind words. Just back from mum's - we did a little bit of cementing today - mum wanted me to tidy in the yard and she started the cement but it was too heavy for her. Shopped for her this morning (few bits) and have a new list to start working on.

Moved all the dry clothes when I got in and have reloaded the radiators and put the last wash on (there are some pillows but they are old and don't know if they are worth the bother of trying to revive them.

They had had Chinese again and they had bought me a beef and broccoli thing - lovely surprise, very reviving.

Today I am grateful for good weather (very cold though), for surprise food and for making good headway on a couple of embroidered Christmas presents.

Organise - had a look through the freezer, fridge and cupboards to see what there is. I really want to keep to my food budget in November so need to do a proper meal plan.

NSDs - 18/20, won't quite meet my target as tomorrow will be a spend day but still pretty pleased :)

Exercise - achieving my daily step target

Extra income - shift at 2nd job and overtime at work yesterday :D

Thanks for this months challenge mothernerd.

    Hi all :j

NSD 15/15 ...no more this month as shopped today & will tomorrow..will added to budget for new thread

Organise: Busy day with 2 (!) trips to the shops but did manage to clear out 2 large dresser cupboards, chucked out a load of OOD bags of flour...unused because I could never get to them...& sorted all my baking tins etc. Have loads of cookie cutters it seems, you name the shape, I probably have it. And no I never use them... Did wonder why I have started clearing in: the cellar, our bedroom, the dining room, the breakfast room AND the kitchen. This method for chaos makes.. Although DH very happy & says it looks clearer, who am I to disagree?

Lunch: Haha scrambled eggs on toast, will get rid of the blighters yet!

Supper: Made up dish using a lonely shallot, bacon bits, leftover chicken bits from curry, melted cheese spread to make a sauce with pasta. Voted very tasty by DH so will be doing that again as quick & simple. Hummingbird muffins for pud

Food budget: £191.96/250 need to total this up tomorrow

Be kind: Always am (!) or attempt to be

One more time: hmm as ever start well but fall off the wagon later on as ever, weigh in tomorrow yuk

Extra Income: no not today, although all items I bought (light for cellar, window vac for condensation) I used cashback site. Plus DD spent so much she got a 10p per litre petrol voucher off...

Christmas: bought a gift whilst out shopping today

    Exercise: not today

    Heating: still off

Grateful for: Kind friend, who is mending something for my birthday, house looking clearer, DD who just informed me going back to her house tomorrow !!!!, decent nights sleep ALSO

This thread & Mothernerd for her daily prompts & wisdom, many thanks!!!

Frog: Small frog dealt with yesterday, another tomorrow will be the freezers which are iced up
New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear

    LOVE this.

Today is a spend day which leaves me on 20. Hurrah!! Well done to all that hit their personal target and all those thay gave it a bloomin good go

Also, happy pay day:beer: husband is taking car for MOT so ill be avoiding my budget book until then.

Had a bad night with my toddler but my lovely work let me take impromptu holidays so I have taken the day off. Very greatful, I don't usually feel like this but I really dont want to wake him and drag him out the house this morning. Will see how he is when he wakes.

Greatful for- an understanding work, I love my job, and I know this is not the case for a lot of people. For my husbands support, I can be a pain in the bum bobbing around with my budget book but we are a team and I appreciate that he goes along with my quirky ways :p for morning cuddles with my boy xx
