mother I hope you're ok
thiriftylass I too keep everything in one place, all my lists, budgets etc.
Today will be NSD 13. I am not going to bother with m&s either as Im not sure I need anything until Monday. If I can wait a couple of months I can use my vouchers for xmas wine. Hub has agreed to sit down over a Chinese (very rare treat) & look over our budgets see what we can cut back on, analse where we are and discuss everything. We had a savings plan for this year and it has really helped and weve comfortably hit it so now we want to look at if we can aim to save more next year whilst also living a little bit! (we must remember to let our hair down on occasion)
I intend to gut this house over the weekend, deep clean chickens, clean the car and garage snd get orgsnised for hub getting home & winter. I will start what I can tonight.
Need to really look at my freezee and get some batch cooking done just a matter of finding time.
I haven't done any excersize but I have stuck to healthy eating, jacket pot for lunch, kippers for tea
Today I am Greatful for a decent chat wih hub last night, a few days off after today, leftover cake at work I can have with my lunch :j

Good morning.
Today WILL be another SFD. Don't need anything and didn't bring my wallet.
Did a meter read yesterday. Despite the heating being on we still use less than the DD amount and are still £100 in credit. So that should be fine for the winter coming.
Took one of my lunches that I made yesterday. Gnocchi with red onions, kale, butter and pine nuts. YUM
Gym again today to and looking fwd to getting home and taking my to do list for today. Wish work wouldn't get in the way every day, lol.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

I have to take back my NSD - putting me back on 12. I am hoping to still make it to 15 by week end but Hub called me on his way back from US to say he had seen something I have been after for FOREVER at half the RRP in the UK and I told him to go for it. I was planning on buying one before Xmas anyway and feeling very guilty about the price so although disappointed I have spent, I am pretty chuffed with my purchase.0

Thanks everyone! Very excited for my new job but also a bit said about leaving my current one - told my employer today and he was genuinely quite sad. Made me a bit emotional!
I am determined to see this through next month - but I am definitely going to continue reading all the posts to get inspiration! Thanks to the person who suggested I do a mini goal for the remaining of October - good shout! So there are 12 days left in October so I am going to go for 6 NSDs. I am just going to stick with this for now but monitor all the other bits fully next month. I have noticed that I started to fall back in to my old habits of popping in to the supermarket after work and then buying things I don't really need but want. At least I have caught myself after a couple of weeks, rather than months down the line with more debt...
Hope you are feeling better today mother x01.05.2019 - Re-Mortgage - £142,000 :eek::eek: Total overpaid to date: £15,584.33.
MFW #52 £9000/£120000 -
Today I am grateful that I can run, for cheery lessons with the y9s, for the amazing focus that the 'offer' of a sweet brings to pupils' work, for lovely chats with colleagues, for getting my reading done, for finding some more friends who will accept hand-me-downs, for almost getting the washing dry (still no heating on), for finding 4 beautiful small cups and saucers to use for Cmas presents (will pair them up and put them with either a small cafetière or hot choc + biscuits), for having broken up for half term as I don't work on a Friday, for dd finishing all the work she needed to do today.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Day 19
NSD - 15/20
Read some of my book and took my lunch into work.
Walked 20 minutes.
Did some surveys but was screened out.
Grateful for:
Catching up with a couple of programmes this evening which I recorded.
Having a good night sleep.
Achieved a few things in work.
Being home at a reasonable time this evening.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
Organise: I havent been decorating. DH has picked up the painting tasks. I have been tidying and sorting a bit as havent done anything in days and its really starting to show. Ive had to sort out some issues with recent work we've had done to the house also - put me in rather a bad mood this evening when I got home.
-Regular: 189/200.
-Get ready for winter: nil today
-Always be kind: Think this is covered but nothing in particular I dont think.
NSD: today was not a NSD - see below
Stoptober: Im going to start a MFW diary so I have looked at budget but not obsessed on it today.
Exercise: I walked to work but got the bus home.
Banned: I did buy a hot choc at work and a coffee for a mate. He called me up and asked if I was free for a chat, we used to work together and I figured he wanted to catch up to discuss the recent office goings on.....he did. Other than this spend, ive been suprised how easy this has been to do this month....though my other ex colleague then contacted me for a chat also....meeting her tomorrow to catch up, she may just want to walk as she is always on a diet.
