I love countryfile too. I always watch it on a Sunday morning xxWe always have countryfile on too.Hi HHD,
Sorry about furry moron - I hadn't realised. It wouldn't feel like a Sunday if we didn't have Countryfile on the tv - last night they mentioned the photo competition for next year's calendar and I felt...'where did the past 6 months go'????
Thank you everyone.
Lots of Countryfile fans on MSE. I find it very soothing.

I'm sure you're going to enjoy wearing the new clothes. It sometimes feels a treat just to find things that fit really well. I begin to think everyone is an 'odd' size and I'm sure I don't know what the manufacturers are thinking when they shape their garments. Myself, DD1 and DD2 currently take the same size in theory, but we are 3 totally different shapes, and some clothes don't fit any of us !!
OH is another massive Countryfile fan - I can take it in occasional doses !
Thanks Elizabeth. I think bagging up is the hardest part of hedge cutting .
I agree about clothes all being different sizes and shapes, this is why I try on six items and if I'm lucky I'll like one .I’m a country file and gardening programme fan - my Sunday morning treat with a cuppa and bacon butty. Although I only caught the end of Country file today - slept through the gardening ones:p
Once you get your qualification- have you thought of putting your name down with an agency/local education authority to go on supply. It varies from area to area but that’s how I started in school. Also look on local LEA website for jobs.
I wouldn’t take not being asked to cover to heart - my school often changes the timetable to something that doesn’t need a ta if someone is off - a money saving tactic - and saves original thing for when ta is available.
Thanks Milann. That is definitely a possibility for the future to go on the supply register.doingitanyway wrote: »Pleased to see you bought some clothes you are pleased with
Along with the ironing I hope you get the chance to relax this evening too.
Thanks DIA. I'm pleased I did the ironing as I've got lots to wear now.

Today was a full on day but I enjoyed it
.
I volunteered all morning, did my lunchtime job, and then after a ten minute break my tutor arrived to assess me for my course. She needed to see me do maths with some children, which she did, and then she asked me some questions and recorded my answers . Anyway it all seemed to go well.
I asked her if I would get the qualification as soon as I finished all my work or whether I had to wait for everyone to finish, and she said she'd award the qualification as soon as I'd finished and she was expecting me to be the first to finish the course :T. So my new goal is to get my qualification by the end of July. I'm really pleased to get the tutor visit done. I wasn't particularly nervous about it as I feel confident that I know what I'm doing at school, but it's taken me a big step closer to getting my qualification
. I can't wait to enrol for the level 3 course in September now
.
I decided I might as well stay until home time after my tutor went, so it was a long day. I felt tired when I got home but elated. Tomorrow I'm only doing my lunchtime job so I plan to start work on my penultimate assigment in the afternoon.
I hope everyone is having a good Monday.

After my busy day yesterday I feel at a bit of a loose end this morning.
I don't have to be at work until lunchtime but I do feel a bit tired after yesterday, so I don't want to wear myself out before work with lots of energetic housework as my lunchtime job is quite physical and tiring.
I've already put a wash on and put some towels in the garden to dry, cleaned the kitchen worktops and filled the dishwasher.
I could work out our money I suppose which will probably give me an unpleasant surprise. Still at least we can ask DS for his keep this month which will make us £200 better off. We can also get £40 from DS1 on Wednesday I think. DH hasn't brought much money in yet this month, so I feel even more guilty for buying those chinos
.
I miss the furry moron when I come down in the mornings. We have an unopened bag of rabbit food which I thought we could put in the food bank. I miss him so much that I'm tempted to say to DH let's buy another rabbit, but I want to wait six months because I don't want to rush into what could be a ten year commitment. I'm sad partly because of my mum as well as missing the furry moron, and I am enjoying having the extra space in the living room and a carpet that stays clean. I also don't have the worry of unexpected vets bills. So I have mixed feelings at the moment.
I'm planning on starting work on my penultimate assignment after work so that will keep me busy.
I hope everyone will have a good Tuesday. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
