Thank you Nicnak
. It does make sense and I think you're right. The pain never really goes away, but it lies dormant under the surface instead of at the front of your mind and you do get better at dealing with it over time.

Happy Sunday everyone
.
My back feels a little sore still after yesterday's de-cluttering. So although there's plenty that needs doing, I need to pace myself.
I want to prune the hedge a little, but I won't bag up the clippings today because that's hard on the back. But I'd like to be able to get in and out of the back gate without fighting branches and getting covered in pollen .
We need to arrange a date for our builders to come and build a new back gate and fence along the back wall :T. Before they come we need to cut the hedge down completely but I don't want to do it too soon or we'll have zero privacy from the lane . So we need to time it carefully.
I also want to do some more ironing today and some more laundry. But I must make sure I fit in some relaxation too as I'm going to have a very busy and full on day tomorrow.
DH and I are watching Countryfile at the moment which we find very soothing.

Morning HHD
You're always up to something aren't you
Wish I had half your energy which is another way of saying wish I wasn't so lazy :rotfl:
I bet it's really busy at school at the moment isn't it but with lots of nice things happening. Enjoy your day and make sure you put your feet up at some point. xx0 -
THanks TF2
. I hate sitting around because I have trouble relaxing and then I get bored. I just wish I had the energy to do all the things that I'd LIKE to do, but I get tired and achey and have to stop. I wish I had the energy of a twenty year old :rotfl:. And I'm very positive that you're not lazy.
School is busy at the moment but fun with leavers assemblies and school trips coming up.

You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x0 -

That made me laugh, because on Friday DD2 posted a picture of her back garden after she had gone out to do 5 mins clipping - 2hrs later the garden looked like a hurricane had gone through it and the clippings will fill 2 bins !!
I'm sure you're going to enjoy wearing the new clothes. It sometimes feels a treat just to find things that fit really well. I begin to think everyone is an 'odd' size and I'm sure I don't know what the manufacturers are thinking when they shape their garments. Myself, DD1 and DD2 currently take the same size in theory, but we are 3 totally different shapes, and some clothes don't fit any of us !!
OH is another massive Countryfile fan - I can take it in occasional doses !0 -
I’m a country file and gardening programme fan - my Sunday morning treat with a cuppa and bacon butty. Although I only caught the end of Country file today - slept through the gardening ones:p
Once you get your qualification- have you thought of putting your name down with an agency/local education authority to go on supply. It varies from area to area but that’s how I started in school. Also look on local LEA website for jobs.
I wouldn’t take not being asked to cover to heart - my school often changes the timetable to something that doesn’t need a ta if someone is off - a money saving tactic - and saves original thing for when ta is available.January spends - £587.580 -
We always have countryfile on too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hi HHD,
Sorry about furry moron - I hadn't realised. It wouldn't feel like a Sunday if we didn't have Countryfile on the tv - last night they mentioned the photo competition for next year's calendar and I felt...'where did the past 6 months go'????0 -
Pleased to see you bought some clothes you are pleased with
Along with the ironing I hope you get the chance to relax this evening too.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
