Glad you had good weather for the trip. We’ve had thunderstorms, lightening and flash floods . You wouldn’t know that now though as it’s hot and sunny so it’s all dried up! Weird! It’s like Florida weather

That sounds like a fun but tiring day. I can't do blood but I'm OK with vomit although I used to wish I'd never made that comment in passing :rotfl:
You may have more chance of getting a role working 1:1 with a pupil although that can be quite intense but I'm sure you'd be fine after looking after 90 of the little rascals on your own.
Hope your ankle is OK. At least there's just tomorrow to get through then you can rest it over the weekend. xx0 -
I'd be willing to go anywhere and do anything for a full time job, part time job, or anything TA related. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed. Once I have my first qualification then I'll stand a much better chance.
It's actually the front of my foot just below the ankle that's sore, I've realised. Maybe it's because I've been wearing the same sandals all week and I've done a lot of walking with my foot in the same position. I'll wear a different pair tomorrow and see if that helps. It's far too hot for shoes! I was also carrying a heavy rucksack today with three drinks and my lunch in it.
I've done 13,936 steps today, although that's not a patch on what Sun Addict does. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thunderstorms and heavy rain hear too - must have been fairly close to us as there were some violent bangs with lightning straight after. Everywhere smells lovely and fresh now though.
Lol my dh thinks it’s a day out of I go on a school trip and can’t quite get what hard work it can be. My best memory was on a train I was 1:1 with a year 6 child with severe adhd quite a few years ago - so there was never a still or dull moment. Child wanted to go to the loo for umpteenth time - I said no because we were in a station and you can’t flush the loo as everything empties on the track.. :rotfl::rotfl: child spent the rest of the journey with nose against the window looking for poop on the track.....claimed to have spotted LOADS :rotfl:January spends - £587.580 -
