  • Good idea to skip Pilates tomorrow especially after your volunteering and job immediately afterwards. You may be feeling pretty tired by the time Pilates time comes round. Also, it will be nice to spend as much time with DS as you can, not just doing last-minute things to help him on his way but just to enjoy his presence.

It's going to be pretty quiet in your house for the next few weeks with 2 sons away. Maybe you'll get a bit more relaxation time in ready for them both coming back in a few weeks time. Plus, you've that Mr Bump costume to make and the PPI claims to finalise;)

I noticed on TV that the South West is experiencing the worst of Storm Freya (I think that's what the latest one's called). We had a really blustery night with things blowing about all over the place. OH got up twice during the night to see what he needed to secure but didn't stay out too long as it was raining and cold even for him:rotfl:. It's still dull and drizzly today but the wind has dropped. Our TV aerial attached to the chimney is at a very precarious angle but always has been so we just hope it stays put whenever there's a storm. With our other problems we don't want that to come crashing down:eek:

Thanks Carboot :). It's wet, windy and unpleasant out but it doesn't seem too bad.

It will be quiet without two DSs :( but as you say I have a costume to prepare, plus my next course assignment to do and we do need to follow up on some of the PPI stuff too,.

I hope your tv ariel stays intact .

I hope you don't blow away when you go out to do the chickens OBL . It's definitely a day to stay indoors!

The dreaded PPI. It is hard to drum up the enthusiasm to take a 'no' and push on to the Ombudsman. I am struggling with that myself. But we must do it HH and see it all the way through. If it is still no at least we took it all the way :)

Wishing you a relaxing evening and all power to you for work tomorrow.
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

    Emergency fund 3501000
    Buffer fund 0/100
    Debt Free (again) 25/072025

Thanks DIA :). I do need to do some follow up on the PPI stuff but at the moment I feel like I've got too much other stuff on my plate!

  • I felt so tired yesterday that we finished work early and I was falling asleep on the sofa. So I went to bed at 9pm and slept for ten hours . I felt much better when I woke up. But after doing my volunteering and my lunch time job I feel really tired again now.

I'm not sure if I'm coming down with something or just exausted, but I can't be ill on my second week, so I need to rest when I'm not at work and then soldier on. I'm only doing an hour and a half tomorrow luckily, but we need to drop DS2 at the coach station before I go to work :(.

I'll miss DS2 when he's gone :( but I know he wants to go and it's good for his confidence. I'll just be glad when he's safely home again :o.

The weather is very changeable today! We had hail for about fifteen minutes  so I read them a story in the classroom, but it's been sunny apart from that although very blustery.

10 hours sleep  you must've been tired. Hope you're not coming down with something as you fear. It might be that the change in routine has exhausted you and you'll get used to it after a few weeks.

I think it's great that DS2 goes off travelling although I know you miss him.

Weather is changeable here too, one minute sunny the next gloomy and extremely windy. Keep having to dash outside to retrieve blown over pots.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I think it's partly because the job is tiring SA, I'm not used to being in charge of thirty children all alone  but I will get used to it :). Maybe I am fighting an infection too, it's difficult to know. But I'm determined not to be off sick as I want to make a good impression.

It must be windy everywhere today .

It's an exhausting job HHD, I did it a few times when there were staff shortages. Obviously, in a classroom it's a more disciplined setting, but lunch is their social time, falling out time and accident time :rotfl: and you need eyes in the back of your head to keep on top of everything that's going on. xx
