I've applied for my new DBS certificate :A. Now I just need to take my passport, etc, into school tomorrow to be verified. The school are paying for it this time, which is a relief :T.
I've also agreed a firm date for my college tutor to visit school and assess me in action .
Next week I want to think of a costume that I could wear on World Book Day. I need to be a character from a children's book. I'm terrible at thinking of costumes so I wondered if anyone had any ideas? I'd want to spend little or no money on it ideally. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Ooh, concocting some sort of fancy dress, I'd love that sort of thing:j.
How about a character from the Mr Men or Little Miss books? Mr Bump or Mr Greedy for instance. Quick and easy (and cheap!) to make:j
A few ideas here:
https://www.madeformums.com/toddler-and-preschool/last-minute-easy-world-book-day-costumes/
They're for very young children but no problem about using them for adults. The Mr Men/Little Miss ones that they mention are numbers 11, 12, 18, 19 and 20 but there must be lots of other Roger Hargreaves characters that would fit the bill too.
The George character from George's Marvellous Medicine book is even better. Just wear your own clothes and carry a huge bottle and a massive spoon. maybe make a big badge for yourself that says 'George' so there's no doubt who you are:rotfl:
Good Luck:beer:0
