  • I've been at the kitchen table quite a bit today. So it's been chucking it down, need the light on, then oh look it's sunny and I need the light off and the blinds down, then chucking it down, blinds up and light on.........and repeat !!!
Was up and down like a yo-yo and of course OH pops in periodically and says, 'Why have you got the light on in sunshine?' (grr!)

DD2 and DGS were over yesterday, and he wanted the Brio out - we had it running up and down the lounge and all round the house. However the set-up is, we could always do some more of something, (double female mini curves, long straights etc - it's like there is never enough and we have HEAPS !!!). I am NOT buying any more.......

Brio is lovely, I've got some stashed in the void ready for some possible future grandchildren ;). It's such expensive stuff but very well made. It's true that however much you've got it's never quite enough for the perfect lay out :).

  • I enjoyed volunteering this morning, it's definitely a good start to the week :). The weather is good too, dry and sunny, although a little chilly!

We've had replies from everyone now with regard to PPI. A few have said an outright no and as we have no proof we have to accept that. Three of them want us to phone them and give more information, sigh. The packaged bank accounts have said it's out of time but we want to write and say we're not satisfied with that response. And all the others are looking into it.

I don't have time to write letters or ring anyone yet. Today I've had volunteering and I have Pilates later on, tomorrow I want to prioritise my college assignment, which I'm hoping I can start and finish in one day.

So the PPI follow ups will have to be done later in the week. I'm determined to get to them soon though :).

Please don't become despondent about the PPI yet. While ever companies are still looking into your claims there's hope:j:beer:
  • Thanks Carboot, yes there is still hope :).

My friend can't make Pilates tonight as she's looking after her grandchildren, but I'll still go as I enjoy it and it's good for me. It will get me out of the house again, it's good for me physically and it gives me a chance to socialise with people. It's nice being able to walk there in the daylight now, but it's still dark when I walk home.

I though it got light much more quickly this morning :T.
