Very exciting Sunday - we had DS2 and DGS round for the afternoon, first time we've seen them in the flesh for so many weeks. I hated not hugging them, though
And it was ME who hit a ball over the fence into next-door's garden - couldn't blame DGS for that !!
DH bought 2 face masks from the chemist on Monday, and I bought 2 a while back from the lady/company in town who does alterations - a wonderful re-purposing of all their off-cuts.6 -

Same here on the face mask - my dentist is opening next month and I'll have to travel on public transport to get there!😷😷😷!Onebrokelady said:Great news on the fencing, we will need photos 😀. You should change the filter in your mask every time you use it, or if it gets wet from you sneezing or coughing on it 😊. Where are you thinking of buying your face masks? I've ordered one from Z@zzl3. I'm not sure it's the best place to buy one, but I wanted one that was a similar style to a surgical mask, that was washable and I wanted one that you could put a filter into. I've only ordered one because I don't know how comfortable it will be. There are several different styles out there and I don't know which style suits my face. If I find it very comfortable and a reasonable fit then I may order another one. DH saw a nanotechnology cotton one that he liked the look of but it didn't have a space for a filter.
Thanks OBL I'll be using kitchen roll as a filter for cheapness then if they have to be changed frequently. I think we may end up having to wear masks in some situations.

I'm glad you are doing the fencing. It made me feel more secure when I got mine done.
I will be going for cloth face masks with a filter. I'm using decorating ones at the minute but I need to go online and see what is out there. Face masks are going to be the new normal so despite hating them I will stock up ...

One of our local shops is on the brink of re-opening and they've been advertising washable face masks in all sorts of weird and wonderful patterns, animal ones and everything. If we've got to wear them might as well make them fun or stylish 😁 Meanwhile I'm just putting off the day I have to go somewhere to need to wear one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

It’s looking like we’ll have to wear them at the hairdressers/beauty salons as well as on public transport so might as well get something we feel comfortable wearing and actually like the look of.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I was given one via a teacher friend whose school was given several by a local sewing group. I look like a ninja as it has the matching hair band with buttons to protect the ears.
OH bought his from a family member, who is making them, diverted from her normal sewing business. Trying to support the self employed rather than big businesses
both have filters and I will wash and change them every time they are worn, that being said we are still avoiding going out shopping etcAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
