Hi HHD :) Glad you've managed to cover your bills and have some set aside, but crikey that water bill! Ours if just over £40 a month so yours is double plus some.

I reckon it won't be long before you see the fruits of your labour in the garden if you do a bit every day. At least the weather is nice so we're able to get out for some fresh air. Not sure how we'd all be feeling if it was raining and we were all cooped up inside. Even being able to get the washing on the line makes the house feel better.  Have a lovely day. xx
Thanks TF2 :). I'm so jealous of your water bill. Our water bill is going up in April too to over £100. It's very unfair as it will almost be as high as our council tax bill. It's to pay to keep all the beaches clean that we're not allowed to go to at the moment 😭.

Yes I hope my garden tidying efforts will pay off in time. I'm very thankful it's sunny atm, although maybe if it was raining I wouldn't feel like going out 🤔. I agree that washing drying outdoors always makes me feel better :).

  •  paid our £94 water bill for March (no we don't have a swimming pool, that's what people in the SW have to pay 😭), paid our weekly NP0w3r bill of £45, and paid £120 for two months of broadband and landline (Feb and March).

I know from previous posts that your water bill is iniquitous, but £60 a month for broadband and landline ? Do you get eg mobiles with it as well, because we pay Jo*n Lew*s £34 a month for fibre-optic and landline. We have to limit calls to an hour at a time, but we neither of us use mobiles for calls at all.

I'm getting lots of washing done, including guest bedding that obviously only gets done occasionally. I tend to reckon if its the same people (ie DD1 and DSIL) that it gets done after approx 3 w/e visits. Although I'm sitting on 'their' bed in the mornings to do my jigsaws !!!

I think our BB is about £30, unlimited but not super super fast.

Its your diary, you post however often you like.   Many of us are also bored, or in my case seeking light relief from daytime stress, its only an issue if there is nothing for me to read and I can hear the inner fret dialogue.

No it doesn't include mobiles Elizabeth, but bear in mind that DH works from home, so we pay extra for a super fast broadband connection which is a business expense (partly). We get unlimited landline calls too.

I'm getting loads of washing done too, at this rate our houses and gardens will be spotless 😁.

Ours is super fast Redo as DH works from home permanently.

Inner fret dialogue is a very good description for my ramblings 😂
