Glad you enjoyed your birthday under the circumstances. Great idea to order gardening stuff online. Everything grows like mad in our garden especially weeds, drives me nuts. Buttercups are particularly rampant but loathe pulling them up because they’re so cheerful to look at.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

We have lovely weeds in our garden walls that have purple flowers, but they're making the cement crumble and forcing the bricks apart so I need to pull them out. Buttercups are nice, they remind me of my childhood

Happy belated birthday 🎂🍷🎂🎁💐
enjoy your gardening - I’d planned doing a bit today but ended up with technology problems then read stories to my gks via t’internet.....maybe tomorrow👍January spends - £587.586 -
Hi HHD
Your birthday evening sounds perfect and it's nice to place the garden order and have something to look forward to. I was listening to the announcement about self-employed people and thought it sounded fair enough compared to what else has already been announced for businesses. That was until he got to the implemented in June part. It's a ridiculous amount of time for people to have to wait for help. xx

. Yes the June bit is ridiculous 😡. The government are always reluctant to help the self employed for some reason. They're square pegs in round holes maybe and the government are suspicious of them 🤔.

Another one here who loves buttercups. I even like the dandelions, such cheerful flowers. Shame everyone views them as a nuisance and kills them off. We get lots of wild poppies at the end of our garden nearest the fields beyond. One of my favourite flowers and always a very welcome sign of summer.
Wishing everyone another lovely sunny day even if we can't go very far afield to enjoy it.7 -
