Tbh, I don't know how they'd manage without you.
I agree
Your mention of egg membranes reminds me that I had an egg for tea yesterday that had no yolk. Quite apart from the huge disappointment, I didn't even know it was possible. Anyway, after a quick Google I find that one of several names for this phenomenon is a 'fairy' egg. Aw, I ate a fairy egg !!
What a coincidence, Elizabeth. I made scrambled eggs for DH's breakfast this morning and one of the eggs had a double yolk. Your loss was his gain:rotfl:. I've never seen or even heard of a yolkless egg but we frequently get double yoked ones:j.0 -
Well I did my last day of paid TA cover today
. I feel quite sad about it as I was really enjoying the extra responsibility and the extra money. The teacher gave me some chocolates and a thank you card and said she's enjoyed working with me. The only bonus is that I'll have more time to work on my assignments and won't have to miss any more college. I do feel quite flat and down at the moment though at my paid cover having finished
. I'm probably just tired.
My feet are really sore as I'm always on them for an hour and a half at lunchtime but I was also on my feet all afternoon with Christmas play rehearsals.
I need to kick myself off the sofa and empty the bins as they are literally overflowing at the moment. Then I'll have my shower, cook dinner and I expect we'll watch another Christmas film.
Tomorrow I'm meeting stepdad for coffee in the morning and then I want to put up all of our Christmas lights and hopefully assemble the two Christmas trees ready to decorate on Sunday.
I hope everyone has had a good Friday.

I always found school to be like a little family, I used to get sad at holiday time knowing I wouldn't see the children or staff for a while, although I sort of grew out of that as time went on :rotfl:
You never know, you might be covering for somebody else sooner than you think but maybe for now it's good that it's come to and end, (apart from the financial aspect of course), what with your assignments to do and Christmas on the horizon and all that goes with it.
Hope you have a lovely weekend and make sure you put your feet up. xx0 -

Thanks TF2. You're right that a school is just like being part of a family. I feel like I've been a full member of the family for over a month but now I'm going to be relegated to the periphery because my paid cover is over
.
Anyway I really hope that some more cover does come up. But I suppose you're right that the extra time will be useful to do my course and get on with Christmas arrangements. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
