Morning HHD
I'm sure the tutor will understand if you've not been well. I think you're doing great. I assume this year's course is a lot heavier and harder plus you're putting in so many hours at school now volunteering, covering staff and working. I'm sure it will all pay off in the end though
Well done on taking your own coke into school:T Have a lovely day. xx
Thanks TF2.

I know during your earlier course you were superquick getting your assignments done and submitted:beer: so your tutor already knows you and what you are capable of. Life gets in the way of our best-laid plans sometimes and your tutor will be very aware of that.
Wishing you a good and hopefully rain-free day at school:)
Thanks FS.
Yes I'm putting in longer hours at school and this course is more intensive and I'm having to do a lot more research for my assignments. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Well I've had an interesting day at school!
I thought we were going to do literacy but we had a visiting science teacher who was running science experiments in the hall. By lunch time my hands were covered in salt and egg membrane :rotfl:. I won't tell you what the children were covered in . Both the cleaners are off sick so I've no idea how they were going to get the mess off the floor as all the mops and brooms are locked in a cupboard . Then at lunchtime even more lunchtime staff were away. We only managed to cope because the kitchen staff and people who were meant to be doing different jobs helped us . We've also go three teachers off sick but at least they are being covered by supply teachers. I'm just glad it didn't rain or we'd really have been in trouble.
When I got home I had lunch and put a wash on. I feel so tired that I'm just going to rest now as I have my very busy Friday coming up tomorrow and I don't want to succumb to all the bugs going around school.
I hope everyone has had a good Thursday.

Oh wow, sounds like a hectic day. I was off today after getting to work and then being sick in the toilet. I only just made it.
I'm now in bed. Getting home was a real testing time for me. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

The science visitor sounded good.
Does your school do a Christmas production - it’s a very chilled affair where I am now but my last school was very intense with a lot of shouting and tears. It was always lovely on the day but  the lead up was tense. It is however lovely where I am now and I’m really missing being there......
You’ll get your assignment done once you feel better again. Don’t be too hard on yourself.January spends - £587.580 -
To say it was an interesting day sounds like a big understatement HHOD:rotfl:. Why are so many staff off, is it the same 'bug' for everyone? Seems like there are a lot of nasties going round everywhere:eek:
I'd arranged to drive an elderly neighbour to hospital this afternoon to visit her husband but we were told (fortunately before we set of as it was a 40 mile drive) that visitors to various wards including the one we were visiting were not allowed because of a Norovirus:eek:. My neighbour is fretting about her husband who had an operation there only yesterday. He's over 80 so I hope he's OK. We'll see what tomorrow brings but as soon as we're clear to go I said I'll take her.
Good luck for tomorrow, HHOD:beer:0 -
Oh blimey, it sounds like they're dropping like flies where you work. It's surprising how much difference one pair of hands less makes let alone several.
I bet you feel jiggered when you get home don't you.
Science experiments sound fun - although I bet the cleaners won't think so.I'm sure our caretaker would have only been happy if the children and staff hovered over the hall floor rather than actually walked on it rotfl: xx

Didn't you just !
Tbh, I don't know how they'd manage without you.
Your mention of egg membranes reminds me that I had an egg for tea yesterday that had no yolk. Quite apart from the huge disappointment, I didn't even know it was possible. Anyway, after a quick Google I find that one of several names for this phenomenon is a 'fairy' egg. Aw, I ate a fairy egg !!0
