  • I must be feeling tired today because I posted a card to my niece today and forgot to write in the card like a numpty:o and I also broke one of my favourite mugs which I'm normally really careful with:(. We had to get up at 7am to get to the flu jabs so I didn't get a lie in and I must still be tired after yesterday. An early night is called for I think!

That's the trouble with favourite mugs - they're more likely to get broken because you use them more.
Meanwhile the non-favourites languish unloved and whole in the cupboard !

Hope you get your early night and a good sleep.

Sounds like you’ve had some horrible weather. We half played with a couple of nights in Cornwall next week as it’s dh birthday but decided it’s too far to go for a short time in bad weather and with dark nights. I’m quite gutted but know it makes sense.
The flooding in Tesco must have been bad for them to shut it - they don’t like missing opportunities to make profit. At least you got a bit of time to relax with a cuppa

It has done nothing but rain here in Cornwall this week so sensible decision to leave it. Come in the Spring instead ;)

Know I shouldn't laugh about the card but it did make me giggle. Another one with favourite mugs. I feel quite bereft when one gets broken or chipped. Hope you're having a quiet, relaxing Sunday. xx

Yes a wise decision not to go to Cornwall as we're having a very rainy autumn at the moment. I think it rained every single day in October  I'm surprised we haven't all evolved to have flippers :rotfl:.

Thanks TF2 :). I don't think I've ever done that before! I'm hoping I'll be able to replace the mug but I'll have to wait until they're in the sale as they cost £7 full price .
