Thanks DIA. As long as the car passes the MOT I'll feel better anyway! You have a good evening too

Evening HHD
Glad you've had a better day at work. Doesn't matter if the teacher made the child write the letter, sounds like if he really hadn't wanted to he wouldn't have done it.
You do seem to be the glue that's holding everything and everybody together at the moment. I can't imagine the pressure you have of knowing your DH could possibly have such a serious reaction about having to find a job.
You've answered a lot of questions already and tbh the biggest one I had was the 1 hour shower  But I can relate to what you've said. DD will shout she's having a shower does anybody need the loo. Then she'll take herself in the bathroom and lock the door. An hour later when I do need the loo I knock and she'll say I'm only just getting in can you wait! As you say - what on earth do they do in there :rotfl::rotfl:
Do you mind me asking if when you're qualified and you DO get a job if you'll be the main wage earner in the house and do you think your DH could see that as his safety net so he doesn't have to worry about getting as much work in himself? It just seems more pressure for you if that's the case.
Hope you have a lovely weekend. xx
Thanks TF2. That made me laugh about your DD in the shower :rotfl:. That's even worse than DS3. What on earth does she do in there? :rotfl:
I hope that if I was the main wage earner it would take the pressure off DH and make him less stressed. His business has paid all the bills (just about) for 26 years. Being self employed is very hard work and people usually work much longer hours for less money in my experience. DH is depressed, stressed and not in great health. I think that I'm actually the stronger person in some ways.
I wouldn't mind being the main wage earner as long as I had a job I enjoyed. Not that we could live on my money even as a full time TA but if I could earn £1000 a month then DH would only need to bring in £1000 a month for us to cover all our expenses. This would take the pressure off DH to earn ALL of the money.
I know he's not perfect and he's not a great wage earner, but he's always kind to me and is very loyal to me.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I'm frightened to ask but I do know hubby sometimes asks where all his shaving foam has gone :rotfl: I do know there is generally music, mood lighting and face masks
Wow, that reply is really humbling. To want to get a job so that your DH doesn't feel as stressed is lovely. It's brought a tear to my eye.
You do know you're going to get a job don't you.
Can't ask for much more than love, kindness and loyalty. Sounds like you've both had a bumpy ride over the years but you've held on tight to each other. xx0 -

That's a lovely thing to say, HH:T. You said in an earlier post that although he isn't a great wage earner he's always kind and loyal to you. Many would envy you for having such a loving husband and the strong bond the two of you have is beyond price.
I'm so pleased that you slept better last night. Things always seem better after a good night's sleep and your mood has certainly lifted today:beer:

Happy Friday HH
I had a very bad experience with nPower a few years ago and ended up involved with their executive complaints department resulting in a lot of compensation. I went back to Scottish Power and I can't fault them, should never have left.
Sorry to hear about the rude TAGood job they don't work where I do as this sort of behaviour is not tolerated.
I hope you get to the bottom of why you feel so tired. It's probably something simple like anaemia or the menopause.
I so empathise with you and DH's work situation. Mr SA was self employed and our income was very erratic. He was quite picky about jobs too and would often rather be off unpaid than take anything. It used to really annoy me.
Have a relaxing weekend xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Thanks SA. I'll remember that Scottish Power are okay if I ever escape from NP0w3r.

I'm with Scottish Power too and never regretted the decision to sign up with them:j. Strangely, their customer service seems to get a real hammering in all the satisfaction polls that come out:(. I can't see why as whenever I've had to contact them they've been brilliant, totally helpful and efficient.0 -

I encountered the rude TA twice today and decided to be super professional around her to show that I'm the better personso I said "Good morning" as I sailed past her first thing and then opened the door for her later on in the day so that she had to thank me :rotfl:.
:T:j:T.
Utterly brilliant - you now have the high moral ground !!0
