    I’ve since considered existing provider o2-159+65p/month 5gig.
    Sky-o+37+15-5gig 52 p/month.
These are my considerations 2018-though I expect 159 x handset cost maybe lower via o2 during 2018.
Hope I don’t have to choose another mobile provider next year-though maybe I might have to looking at x launch costs.

Still deciding whether to upgrade from my iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone X. I've got just under £400 left to pay off the iPhone Upgrade Programme (IUP) and I can sell the 7 Plus for £410 via a recycling site or more if sold privately, so that cost can easily be covered.

I could then upgrade my £21 sim only Vodafone plan to a £68pm plan and £150 one-off cost, and as I work for the NHS, I would get a 15% discount on line rental making it £57.80pm. I'm currently paying £71pm for my sim only and IUP.

    Decisions decisions.

BTW - I have no interest in an Android phone. Android doesn't work with the Apple Watch, iPad or MBP in the same way as an iPhone.

you need to remove those blinkers and have a good look around at the alternatives out there.

Apart from the watch (sold mine last week as novelty had worn off), connectivity isn't a issue as most of the top apps/software google photos, onenote, onedrive, whatsapp, gmail etc. all work on IOS AFAIK. Facetime would be in there but last time i looked apple didn't want to share.

I get the MBP thing but there is literally thousands of devices out there, why limit yourself to only a handful?

What android devices work with my watch, iPad and MBP?

Are there Android devices that can sync with my iCloud library? I didn’t think there was. The only iCloud content I’ve ever been able to sync with an Android phone is contacts and calendar, and that’s via apps because Google doesn’t support the Caldav and cardav standards.

How would I sync my safari bookmarks, photos and passwords on an Android phone?

Does chrome on android have an ad-blocker yet? I read something about Google releasing an ad-blocker for chrome but I haven’t seen anything yet.

I’m not interested in using any Google services.

you are limiting your options by using software/hardware that is not shared across other platforms. if your icloud library/bookmarks/photos/music can't be synced with other devices then move to it somewhere that can.

But surely the only other choice is Android, in which case I am then stuck with a single option there too?
