i've done a quick search but couldn't find the thread you mean
have done a search on ebay and it's come up with these
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38.l1313&_nkw=fairy+jar&_sacat=See-All-Categories
perhaps a starting point for ideas and then you can make yourself, tailored to suit what your daughter would like?0 -

I have just just received THE BEST EVER 'gift in a jar' from my auntie ...... a massive jar of her own homemade pickled onions!!!

Think I might repay the favour with a massive jar of her favourites ...... marshmellows !!! :rotfl:
Hey Mary, you finished all those christmas craft gifts now, or are you still adding to them?A creative mess is better than tidy idleness

Could you make a mini wand somehow - tinfoil covered card maybe and add a sprinking of glitter (fairy dust). If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
