i've done a quick search but couldn't find the thread you mean

have done a search on ebay and it's come up with these

    http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38.l1313&_nkw=fairy+jar&_sacat=See-All-Categories

perhaps a starting point for ideas and then you can make yourself, tailored to suit what your daughter would like?

Is there a way of creating a 'fairy in a jar' without having to buy a fairy ? My friend loves them but I've about spent my christmas budget:confused:

  • I have just just received THE BEST EVER 'gift in a jar' from my auntie ...... a massive jar of her own homemade pickled onions!!! :D

Think I might repay the favour with a massive jar of her favourites ...... marshmellows !!! :rotfl:

Hey Mary, you finished all those christmas craft gifts now, or are you still adding to them?
A creative mess is better than tidy idleness :D

Could you make a mini wand somehow - tinfoil covered card maybe and add a sprinking of glitter (fairy dust).
