also thanks to another poster who said about melted snowmen,we used the idea and put white bubble bath in fabric conditioner bottles(thought the tops looked like hats),stuck on 3 stick on gems-buttons,made a cellophane parcel with two black buttons(eyes),1 plasticine carrot nose punched a hole in and secured round neck of bottle, covered and tied with a piece of material round top -scarf, then typed this up
Thanks my friend for the fun in the snow
the sun came,i melted and had to go
but now i'm back, bottled and ready to laugh
tip me upside down and put me in your bath0 -

To anyone looking for content for an interesting fact jar, have a look at the following:
http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/twdk.do
I don't think there'd be a copyright problem (as long as you don't try selling them) as they are 'facts' submitted by the public for public consumption. Many are hilarious and some are probably even true...0 -
ASC -brilliant ! and very funny a lot of them. I've done a can of useless facts for one of my sons.............similar sorts of things but think there's a few there I haven't got that I can add.
Thanks:jMary

Don't think too good in a morning so as a quick thought re the treasure hunt. What about a written clue to find each sweet ie for one hidden by the tv 'Your next clue and sweet are by the thing that you watch cartoons on' Hide clues by their fave toy or under the pillow. For the hamper what about getting them making chocolate rice crispies for Father Christmas and scrunching weetabix for Rudolf? Messy though!!0
