Maria, I love your 365 facts jar. I really like the coloured paper, it looks brilliant :j:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

i find the Kenko coffee jars look lovely when made into other things just make sure you wash them out properly or put them in the dishwasher, i have a stack of them at the moment, my sister works in a school and has been saving the jars for me.
The Douwe Egbert coffee jars are also really nice - the lid is like a 'stopper' (sorry, can't really describe it very well, and no idea where to find a photo!).
It's not the cheapest instant coffee, but if you can get it on a special offer, you not only get a caffeine fix each day, you get some very nice jars!0 -
I must be loosing my marbles .............:rotfl:
I bought three glass jars from a boot fair about a month ago and haven't used them...............can't remember now why I bought them so think I might use them for Journal Jars for teenage grandkids.............was in two minds whether to do Journal Jars for them or not - but think I will.
Oh eck.................my list will never end !!!!:rotfl:Mary

I just did a whole list of questions to put in my sons Journal Jar and showed them to OH (he'd never heard of Journal Jars - must have been asleep when I did my mates..........lol) Well, bloomin men !!
He read through them and said he thought it was a daft idea.................he reckoned my son would wonder what it was all about and they'd be no point unless he sent it back to me !................I started wondering if it was more of a 'female' thing than for men . I know my mate will love hers and I'd love one (hoping she'll take the hint when she gets hers on her birthday in a few weeks)
What do you reckon ? It's quite put me off doing it now. Was going to do one for teenage grandson but really, I've quite gone off the boil !
Sorry for short kind of rant but I could have smacked him..................lol:mad:Mary

maria - that's what I thought..................lol It's made him think a bit though - he thought some of the questions I'd done were a bit too thought provoking and was worried they'd cause some sort of argument between son and his girlfriend (well they weren't that sort of question but thats men for you") so now he's mulling over some things in his head that he'd have put instead.........lol Course OH is a very private sort of person and if someone sent him one he would no way want to do it. My son is different and quite happy to talk about all sorts of stuff, personal and otherwise.
OH even apologises.......................pmsl:rotfl:
So, think I'll do it anyway..........................lolMary
