Alison -they look brilliant ! I bet if you look around the charity shops you might find some jars fairly similar that would suit the purpose. Oh to be that artistic.

I've just done a list of 30 world events for my brother's 30 years and my god it is a tale of woe starting with Thatcher becoming PM in 1979 then we go through war, invasion, more war, terrorist attacks, assassinations... Makes really interesting reading though.

Hehe I looked up my year of birth (1987) while I was on that page to have a look and it was the year that Prozac was released for use!! :p

If you are going to do something like this hama beads idea - can I suggest you get the ones where you just add water rather than ironing - as ironing is a pain!:p

wind up bath toys and crayons? wind up trains? Teething ring variations? Ideas for activies for mum and dad? I think I would be tempted to visit the finished basket thread and do a small basket or box instead. In which case you could include a small cuddly toy, fleece blanket etc....

  • Quaker, I can't say thank you enough. My friend got married in April and this will make a nice gift for his new wife. I will make some snowman soup for their son. I saw a kisses tree on Organized Christmas. I will try that as well. I might make some gifts in jars for my daughter in law as well.
