Where did the t shirt come from? It's really cool, I'd love to get one for BIL & SIL their baby is due in March.

I'ver finished my pickled bums !!!! :T At last..............I had to buy a pair of tights from one of the charity shops as I'd run out of old ones so bought some newly wrapped ones and only ended up needed one more 'bum'...........lol layer of pickling spice on the bottom of the jar so grandson can't see all my awful stitching, few pickling spices here and there in the jar and its finished.
Also done my friends 'safe keeping' jar.:T ..............just needed to print the label for that so thats another one done.

Starting on survival kits shortly (I think)..........found some little boxes that will do -driving me nuts, all these half done bits and pieces kicking around................:rotfl:

    Hiya x

Not sure where that one was from but you can get them in lots of shops - well similar - try Mama's and Papa's or maybe Mothercare.

    Coconut Ice
405g can Carnation Light Condensed Milk
    300g desiccated coconut
    300g icing sugar, sifted
    ½ tsp vanilla extract
    2-3 drops scarlet food colouring

Line a 24cm square tin with baking parchment. Mix the condensed milk with the coconut, icing sugar and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined. Spoon half of the mixture in the base of the tin and spread out evenly with the back of a spoon.
Add the food colouring to the remaining mixture and blend well until it is an even pink colour. Spread over the top of the first layer and smooth out.
Leave at least for 4-5 hours, in a cool place before cutting into squares with an
    oiled knife.

  • Ive bought some bags of pasta shapes, lovely shapes and the colours are gorgeous, in bergundy and black.
Thought I could do something in a jar with them but not quite sure what.
    Any ideas?

I washed one of these jars out today.:D

I'm going to fill it with old fashioned sweets for my dad's hamper. To buy in the shops they're ridiculously epensive. Some are £10!!!:eek::eek:

candy - try this site..........there's all sorts there. Click on the 'all gifts in a jar' -top left hand corner. Might be something there that would do.
    http://www.allfreecrafts.com/giftinajar/soup-mixes.shtml.

So pleased I'm actually getting some of these 'gifts in a jar/container' finished.:j
Done two stainless steel storage tins - one is quotes, the other useless facts. Just got to do label for the useless facts one.
Covered one little box for 'survival kit' and painted the other...........just need to put an embellishment or two on that one and pop the bits and pieces in it.
Baby socks have been stuffed with lavender (no wonder I got headache !!!) -think I might have to change something there.........but I'm getting there.
