Still wondering what to do with one jar I've got (not big enough for 365 of anything!) -have got coffee jar with brown lid that would hold 365 things but really wanted different colour lid than brown.............could always pop a hat on it I suppose............but wanted it for my son........not sure a little hat on a jar would be quite 'masculine' enough...........any ideas welcome...........lol

Mary, I can't believe it. I had recently found a link showing how to make a santa hat for a jar ...... CAN'T FIND IT NOW FOR THE LIFE OF ME!!!
I am pretty sure it was just a cone made from red card with cotton wool balls around the edge, but it really looked quite effective. I think they had decorated the jar a little too. I will keep an eye out for it.

I have found this idea though for a bottle 'Spirited Santa Bottle Topper' thought it looked great, and love the label idea.

Hey Mary, you are finding it stressful  !!! Imagine how I feel without all these 'english shops' !!!
Oh well, keep coming up with these great ideas everyone, maybe one day Tesco's will arrive here. Mind you I will probably be too old then, afterall yesterday I went to Carefour and C and A's !!!! It's like going back in time.

Bet you've got different shops where you are that we'd love to have.
I'm a bit limited being in such a small town........but its amazing what our charity shops have to offer.........and cheap !:j

(Haven't been to C & A for years.........most of the big stores are a 40 mile round trip so, once again, charity shops to the rescue.................lol)

Thats what comes of always living in small market towns where any shops that hold any bargains (Poundland where are you ????) are miles away

LOL jump on a ferry over to Cherbourg, follow the road round to the city centre and Carrefour is on the right a stone's throw from the feryy terminal ;):rotfl::rotfl: Obviously the alcohol had most of the bargains for us Brits, but there were some other things too, unfortunately I didn't have time to spot any craft type things as we only had 3/4 hour there

Ummm think I'll pass on the grounds I've no idea where it is............lol................much as I can do to muster up the energy to battle round the shops 20 miles away, thats without persuading OH to pay the petrol to get there and back plus trail round shops with me.
Think I'll drag out my bus pass and 'go it alone'....................lol
