  • Hi siren, not sure if it will work as i havnt smelt the jars but i find a good wash on high setting in a dishwasher works. pickled onion smells are hard to get rid of too but my dishwasher always works its magic on them.
    im sure others will be along soon with their remedies, you could try them all then LOL.

    I now have a dishwasher in my new kitchen so that may be and option. They never smelt after I had washed them. I'd got several saved up but some were so bad I had to throw them out!! I still have about 8 though so its not too bad hehe

    bicarb of soda is supposed to kill smells but try dishwasher first

    northernlass - I clicked on to the link that was put on here for 'safe keeping' jar and right at the bottom of the page in a blue dot in red box it says 'projects'..........click on that and a list comes up. Hope that helps

    i dont know if im looking in the wrong place or what but the whole page seems to be dedicated towards Books Literature Poetry etc no crafty bits as far as i can see. maybe they change the homepage on a regular basis to suite all tastes, never mind ive all the ones off this thread to keep me going:T
