Hi siren, not sure if it will work as i havnt smelt the jars but i find a good wash on high setting in a dishwasher works. pickled onion smells are hard to get rid of too but my dishwasher always works its magic on them.
im sure others will be along soon with their remedies, you could try them all then LOL.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
Thanks Northernlass!
I now have a dishwasher in my new kitchen so that may be and option. They never smelt after I had washed them. I'd got several saved up but some were so bad I had to throw them out!! I still have about 8 though so its not too bad hehe:beer: Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
bicarb of soda is supposed to kill smells but try dishwasher first0

I hadn't got a clue what 'Borax' was, so searched on internet and this is what came up. Hopefully we can find it on the supermarket shelves.
