    WM x2 after swimming
Pixie has lost her voice and has a sore throat and Twinkle is full of cold and teething and sad.
Sorted a dozen things to sell and sold 3 items so I can ready thos for Mondays post..

Good afternoon every one it's been a good week kept up with cleaning all washing and ironing done and business accounts all up to date and day 3 of diet and stuck to it so far. Shopping done and put away just chilling with a coffee.

That's lovely of you, thank you so much, I'm looking forward to it! x

  • Hope DD1 is OK [/B]Pigpen[/B].

I can only think the work thing is about control HB. The stupid thing is that my boss is good at his job so why doesnt he just get on with it and leave me to do mine? I hope the message got through.

Good on you leaving the housework to be with DS Bossy. Time goes so fast.

Nice evening with family. Ready for bed now. I have agreed to do a 4 am taxi service if DS1 is stuck (which is quite likely). It's not a lot of fun but I dont mind occasionally.

Welcome PJ1, AKL and other newbies. We are a friendly bunch and sometimes do manage a bit of housework in amongst the chat!

    Morning everyone.

Hope you enjoyed your cuddles with your boy, Bossy.
    Welcome newbies.
Hope YSL managed to avoid the 4am taxi call.

I've kind of been awake since about 4, but didnt' get out of bed until just after 7. Just having breakfast, having fed the dogs and tidied up my orchids.

I am helping today at a village function. I only want to do an hour or two so hope I don't get roped in to the whole day. I have other things to do:

    Walk dogs
    Make dinner
    Clean car
    Cut grass
    Change bedding

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning all,

I love Sunday mornings :) DH always has the Sunday lay-in so I potter in peace whilst the kids play/squabble :p WM is doing its thing, DW has nearly finished and I've WUDUPA the bits that can't go in the DW.

Really enjoyed strictly, I love this time of year where Saturday nights mean strictly, curtains drawn and candles lit, bliss. That said, it is forecast to be warm today so I will be pegging out shortly.

    Have lovely days all xx

  • I like Saturday morning's better atb because there is the whole weekend ahead but I know what you mean!

Picked DS up at 3am. He was really upset (and a bit drunk) because his GF who has just started Uni rang him crying and said she had gone out with friends, lost them and didn't know how to get back to her Halls. He was in a nightclub 200 miles away. I was trying to find out if she was ok and safe but all I got was the fact that they had ended up arguing.

Got into bed, laid there a bit then had to message GF to make sure she was OK. DH asked me what I was going to do if she wasn't and I wasn't sure about that but all was well. Long time before we slept.

No idea what the day holds. Sun is shining. Would like to do some cycling.

Ah, the joys of long distance relationships. Add alcohol on both sides and it's a recipe for misunderstandings and general upset. Hopefully he'll look on it that as soon as she wasn't sure what to do, she contacted him, rather than not thinking of him at all. :)

Considered (briefly) doing some gardening, but the number of rather plump eight legged guardians out there meant I decided I really wasn't dressed for the occasion (they get a little bitey this time of year in my experience).

So I'm probably going to sort out the coffee table now the Idiot Cat is asleep on a guitar case in a puddle of sunshine instead on the top, shove some work clothes into the wash as Himself hasn't got around to doing it yet and, after that, I'm probably going to do as little as possible.

YL.. At least she had the sense to call DS.. My idiot daughter got in a cab with a 'friend of a friend' who then didn't bring her home.. The rest shall we say is a matter for the police.

Tell her to ALWAYS have £10-£15 in her purse for a cab if it ever happens again.. and to have a taxi booked with a company registered properly and to give those so called friends a blooming good berating next time she sees them.. I would NEVER EVER leave my friends no matter what state they were in! .. It is really scary how many young women you see, utterly paralytic and noone nearby.. I usually go offer assistance and either find their friends or get them on their way home.
