    And I'd like to add that the butter is delicious (if you like Lurpak). It's very pale and creamy and is ONLY 53p.

    Mind you the coffee chocolate was nice. But only had a few squares :A

    But I did eat 24 cherry Jaffa cakes thingys.

    oooohhhhhhhhhh i've not seen cherry ones!! ours just have orange and raspberry :-( sound delicious...........hehehe i eat the whole pack in one too :o

    Dishwasher tablets are as good as any dearer ones and I buy my bin liners too. Wouldn't buy fruit again since getting some grapes that only lasted a daybefore going quite mouldy.

    And the 12 year old Speyside single malt whisky at 12.99 for 70cl is reputed to be Tamnavulin (from a small distillary currently 'mothballed' - and rated good-to-excellent by experts). Can't absolutely guarantee this is true but, well, I like it.

    I wonder if Lidls will notice a surge in profits (largely due to jaffa cake sales) as a result of this thread?

    Have any of you tried Mr choc's , it is like twix but much nicer, you get them in packs of 8, 2 fingers in each packet for about £1.18!! from Lidl x

    filter coffee
    chocolate spread
    baby wipes - good if you like thicker ones, and they dont have the awful smell of other brands
    washing powder
    STOLLEN mmm stollen, nice! always go there at xmas to get the german xmas things. Nice kids' clothes and shoes and snowboots too!:)

    I feel another trip to lidls coming on...
