Ohh, just catching up and saw you and Shiprob are in Leicester! Me too! Moved here 13 years ago to go to Uni and never ended up leaving! TMI!! But I suppose it's good Body Magic.;)
Hope your breakfast/lunch switch works kathrynha. Let us know. Missed you yesterday.:)
Shame that the French are switching from traditional food to junk like the rest of us denise. Sounds like menu du jour still exists though. Enjoy!:)
That's a good idea. I usually add something extra like mushrooms when I'm reheating the mince from frozen. I could stir in some frozen spinach as well. I haven't got any in the freezer at the moment so it can go on next week's plan.:)
It worked!!
I did weigh and go this morning and lost 2.5 lbs!:j
Now I'm just 2 lbs. out of target. No sure what's happening today. I'm meeting friends this evening and we often end up with a pub meal. I have 105 syns to play with so I'll have to think about it. GReat loss :j :j :j
So pleased for you :j :j
Weigh in later for me.
It will be another gain.
I do worry though if I stop going completly that I will put all the weight I have lost.
Rock.Hard place.
I just dont seem to be able to stick to plan for more than a couple of days.
I am not happy with myself & that just makes me eat more.Well done Maman on the 2.5lb loss, even if it was over 2 weeks! How much more to get back into target range?
On the sweetner front my consultant says you need to syn if it is 1Tbs or more per portion which is what I stick to.
Sorry things are still bad Kathryn and today's experiment didn't work.
No idea when I'll next have wifi as moving on again tomorrow after a few days here.
Consultant has prescribed me various things. Current combination is the best. Last thing he tried, well the side effects resulted in this week's undeserved loss.
There is one drug that does stop me throwing up but it is very harsh on the body so can't take it all the time. It also has unpleasant side effects. I save that for days out and stuff where I really can't cope with being ill.
This site is really lacking a vomiting smiley
There did used to be one in the old days.
Sorry to hear your current news.
Take care & keep plodding xx

-2lb for me tonight :j Half a pound more than my own scales predicted so pleasantly surprised.
Must have lost the extra half in the gym today :rotfl: The trainer I got was mean! I actually thought I was going to die. Had to turn down one of the machines when he wasn't looking. Got a right ear bashing when he noticedI may be young but he had the list of my health issues so he could have been a bit easier on me. Took me 45 mins in the changing room afterwards before I could actually leave. At least I have my plan now. I'm going to go a bit easier for awhile and work up to what he wants me doing. He said to get back to him in 4 weeks to increase the intensity of the workout....not a hope :rotfl:

Great losses tonight! Well done beanie , bubbs and Miss whiplashy .:T:T:T
I'm going with the sweetener advice from denise . That tablet /granulated argument doesn't make sense. Surely it's the quantity you eat that matters. Sometimes I think consultants make it up as they go along without thinking.
2 lbs. back to target range for me. At last I'm feeling slimmer and my stomach is almost flat again.
I did go to the pub with my friends tonight. I'm allowing 12 syns. I had steak, salad and new potatoes. Salad had a balsamic dressing and there were onion rings and coleslaw on the plate. I only had a taste of those. Plus 2 gins.
I should be 100% on plan tomorrow.0 -
Morning all.
A surprising 2lb off weighing in this morning. It is over 2 weeks but includes a short holiday and excessive gin consumption! Bang on the stone barrier now so would love to see the scales on the next stone figure next week. I have revised my target weight down a bit so I now have 7lbs to lose.
Whiplashy re your holiday clothes, my local M&S had loads of summer stuff in the sale yesterday including swimwear and beach cover ups etc. I bought some zebra print shoes(!) but I love your ruby slippers MrsRyan. My graduation dress was lovely but covered in a black gown most of the day, making me look like a giant bat,so I wish I'd gone for stunning shoes.
Well done all losers, some great ones this week,
Decorating today so that is definitely body magic in my high ceilinged house!0 -
:T Well done esmy. That's a good loss.
Like you I'd be happy with another half a stone. It would take me well down into my target range which is a much safer place to be. All this hassle I'm having is because I put on half a stone over a 3 week holiday. That's going to happen (just booked flights for 3 weeks next summer:D) but it wouldn't be such a disaster if I had been at the lower end of target weight when I started. It's all a bit of maths and psychology but it makes perfect sense to me.:o
I need to do meal plan and food shop today but not until much later so it's a case of eating what I have in/want to use up.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with veggie chilli, cottage cheese and beetrootsausage, mash, cauli, broccoli, kale, carrots, fried onions
Syns: 2 for sausages, 2 for gravy plus gin!:)
DH and I have decided to go to the cinema on Sunday which generally means a meal out. Plus I'm out tomorrow although I think (hope) that's going to have some SW options. It's not looking like an easy week.:(0
