Fantastic shoes Mrs Ryan! I'm a fellow Ryan, though not a Mrs

Ah okay :) it isn’t my real name (although my real surname is also Irish) its an ironic nickname I was given many years ago when I was a huge fan of the band Blue :D

Thanks for your kind comments Beanie :) the hood on my gown is sky blue and gold. X

getting there sometime~~It is not easy.
I still miss by DS to bits.
    Keep plodding :) xx

The funny thing is beanie I see him everyday as we work together lol

No I think it's more that in a lot of respects he's not really worldly wise (yes I know a lot of that is my fault) & if, I'm honest a little lazy & I worry how he's going to cope but I guess I have to let go & perhaps let him fall occasionally......but it's hard!

Food wise I've gone completely off plan - not so much eating rubbish but just having a roll in the evening & that's it. Will be lucky to lose anything this week at this rate.

    Love the shoes Mrs Ryan!

Well done Mrs Ryan on your loss and hugs Miss Teach on your gain.

I avoided posting yesterday. Least said about it the better but I line has been drawn under it!

Today I really need to get my head back in it and stick to something that vaguely resembles on plan.

    Today's 'plan':
    Breakfast - noodles
    Lunch - porridge
    Dinner - Stir fry
Snacks - Fruit, aldi quavers, ginger sweets

    HA - milk
    HB - oats
Syns - quavers (3), SF sauce (1), ginger sweets and drugs :(

I know the plan seems weird and rather the wrong way round, but I don't normally throw up breakfast, and I never throw it up if it's porridge, but I pretty much always throw up lunch, so putting porridge at lunchtime I'm seeing if I can keep lunch down.

I'm the youngest, and my mum was devastated when I announced that I was moving to the middle east when I finished uni. Moved back in with my parents 5 years ago and now she thinks she'll never get rid of me! She's probably right :rotfl:

I have two of mine still at home and I love it. The eldest has lived in 11 far/middle eastern countries since he left Uni.... it is not so easy to just pop for a cuppa.

Ohh, just catching up and saw you and Shiprob are in Leicester! Me too! Moved here 13 years ago to go to Uni and never ended up leaving!

It is amazing how close everyone is, it would be spooky if you knew each other in reality x

Really envying your savoury mince tonight too topgirl. It's lush. I think I must be hungry.

I'm starting to feel a bit slimmer at last. I don't want to get my hopes up but fingers crossed for WI tomorrow.:)

It was just the ticket, the weather was awful :) I subbed the peas for spinach as I didn't know Top Bloke used the last of them in cottage pie and it worked really well, might use it instead in future as it's extra speed :)

    Good luck at WI!

 TMI!! But I suppose it's good Body Magic.;)

Hope your breakfast/lunch switch works kathrynha. Let us know. Missed you yesterday.:)

Shame that the French are switching from traditional food to junk like the rest of us denise. Sounds like menu du jour still exists though. Enjoy!:)

That's a good idea. I usually add something extra like mushrooms when I'm reheating the mince from frozen. I could stir in some frozen spinach as well. I haven't got any in the freezer at the moment so it can go on next week's plan.:)

I did weigh and go this morning and lost 2.5 lbs!:j

Now I'm just 2 lbs. out of target. No sure what's happening today. I'm meeting friends this evening and we often end up with a pub meal. I have 105 syns to play with so I'll have to think about it. Will report back later.

MamanIt was a great menu de jour yesterday - just €13 including the wine!

Went to the local market today and there were 3 stalls doing gallettes, I didn't have one as was still full from breakfast but DH had a sausage one. Just about to go and prep french bread pizza using up lo bread from yesterday. Made a beef stew the day before yesterday so have the LO for dinner tonight. May add some lentils to it to make it go a bit further. Will also make some mash. At least somw food is on plan!
