  • Sneaky look at my own scales this morning (really need to stop doing that!), suggests I should just about scrape my first shiney tonight. Heading off for my first session at the gym soon, so really hoping that won't mess it up.

Depressing morning so far. Bought clothes for my holiday a few months back. Ordered them in a size 14 thinking I had plenty of time to fit into them. Of course I kept losing and regaining the same stone while I was away from SW. Result is none of them are even close to fitting, and I go a week from Monday :( On the plus side, sorted for clothes for next summer :rotfl: Praying I'm not too late to pick up some summer stuff in the shops, but thinking I probably am.

Congrats on the loss maman :j Really impresses me when people get those kind of losses. Apart from the first week, I'm usually lucky to get a pound.

You might still be lucky with some sale rails. Don't know how much you want to spend but there seemed to be a fair bit in my Sainsbury's yesterday and Matalan or Asda or Primark usually have plenty of cheap stuff. I'd spend an absolute minimum if I were you.

Thanks for the good wishes but that 2.5 is over 2 weeks really. I booked a holiday last week because I knew I wouldn't lose with all the birthday meals etc.

So sorry to hear that.:( Is there nothing the consultant can do to help?:A
Oh, and thank you for covering your mouth rather than throw up all over us!:D:rotfl:

While dashing in for weigh and go this morning I heard consultant describing how she made the pasties. She was adding cubed potato to a tin of meat (mince??) and a caramelised red onion. What surprised me was she said she had to syn a teaspoon of sweetener on the onions?? I thought the synning was just if you made cakes or something with several tablespoons. Anyone know?

I've decided I will go to the pub with my friends this evening if they suggest it. I'll try to make SW friendly choices but not sure what the menu will be.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 Weetabix HEB, HEA milk
L: JP with veggie chilli, cottage cheese and beetroot
    D: tbc

Consultant has prescribed me various things. Current combination is the best. Last thing he tried, well the side effects resulted in this week's undeserved loss.
There is one drug that does stop me throwing up but it is very harsh on the body so can't take it all the time. It also has unpleasant side effects. I save that for days out and stuff where I really can't cope with being ill.

This site is really lacking a vomiting smiley

Well done Maman on the 2.5lb loss, even if it was over 2 weeks! How much more to get back into target range?

On the sweetner front my consultant says you need to syn if it is 1Tbs or more per portion which is what I stick to.

Sorry things are still bad Kathryn and today's experiment didn't work.

No idea when I'll next have wifi as moving on again tomorrow after a few days here.

    Congrats, SOTWs, Gts and bubbs.

Thanks for the chart, kathrynha. And well done on your loss; every cloud has a silver lining!

It’s not been the best day here at Casa Tiger. Started out well, then I started having to run to the loo! st with jam and tea time (8 ish). Didn’t fancy much but I was hungry, so I had a sandwich (hm white bread, shocking but all I had left) and a tin of WW tuna mayo wth sweetcorn,

    Hope tomorrow’s ‘normal’.

    Morning all.

Caught up with however many pages since I was last here - you're a chatty lot! Congrats to Bubbs and GTS for SOTW and thanks again for the chart Kathrynha.

Had a lovely few days with DD in Spain. I am making no attempt to tot up the syns consumed, primarily in gin and cocktails, rather than in food! Back on it now and I'll see where I'm at when I weigh in on Friday. I've been losing and gaining the same lb or two for weeks, frustrating when I'm so close to a stone barrier, but I've no high hopes for this week.

    Thanks all:D

Am in southern Brittany at the moment. Has been foggy in the mornings for the last few days but lovely later once tne sun has burnt it off.

Been for a fairly long walk this morning while the washing was doing in the launderette. Have come back now it's done for a cuppa. Off for another longish walk shortly.

Will probably walk for about an hour and then come back for some lunch, not what yet but may have the last WW wrap with some ham, salad and LTL mayo.

    Have a lovely holiday:D

    Evening all
Tonight’s post is brought to you from Gala Bingo :D I’ve just won one lines, two lines and on 4 cards only wanted one number for the full house so I came pretty close to being driven out by a crowd of angry bingo players :rotfl: my life is so busy and manic at the moment that it’s miraculous that I’m staying on plan! I got my 1.5 stone award today with a 2lb loss, so that’s a total loss of 1 stone 8lbs in 9 weeks. 7 weeks until my graduation and only 6lbs to lose- it’s my birthday 2 weeks today so that will allow me to at least have my birthday dessert without feeling too guilty.
I also bought my graduation shoes today. They’re absolutely beautiful! They’re by Irregular Choice and are called Sulu- they’re my ruby slippers ❤️
They cost an obscene amount of money- I’ve only ever spent more on my Uggs which are in constant use- but i know I’m not alone in buying extravagant shoes for graduation- a lot of the other ladies are too! The lovely lady in the shop says they get a lot of ladies buying their shoes for very special occasions- weddings and graduations- and that they’re absolutely deserved! My dress won’t really be seen beneath my robes so I’ve gone all out on my shoes ❤️
Today’s menu (not great sorry- I left the house at 8.55am and will get home at 9.30pm!)
B: HEXB HiFi x 2, giant easy peeler, water
L: Subway salad and water (1.5 syns for dressing)
T: Nando’s butterfly chicken, rice and large salad (5.5 syns) water
S: Sunbites popcorn (4 syns) melon, HEXA Alpro choc soya drink + 1.5 syns
    Syns: 12
    Steps: 12476
    Night all xx

    :T:T:T well done
