  • Don't worry about the tablets I say. I take plenty and I have no intention of checking :rotfl: I saw a post on facebook about the syns in different cold and flu remedies. I quickly scrolled past so I wouldn't remember! No way will I be counting syns on stuff like that. If I can stick to plan otherwise when I'm sick then I think I'm doing a good job.

But when taking the amount I am every day it has to have an effect.

The problem is I'm not sticking to plan at the moment. Shouldn't really blame the drugs for gains, more just me being rubbish at sticking to plan :o

Using a 105 syns a week 'bank' is very common whiplashy . I've done it from Day 1 and got to target no problem. Like bubbs I have very low syn or syn free meals all week and look forward to my syns at weekends. It works for me but some people prefer a daily treat.

STS is good for maintaining. Well done tweets :T

Oh I record everything (have to!) got RSI on Thursday from writing everything up :p. I can't believe senco is only now saying we need to do an EHCP for him to prove we're not meeting his needs
Seems to be the thing at this school that the child you start with, you follow through the school. Just hoping for a better week!
I hope you do have a better week. Glad to hear you've got good records. How are they used? The SENCo or someone should be monitoring them and taking action accordingly. I'd suggest you hand them in with a comment (I.e. Keep nagging). Try highlighting all incidents of violence or abuse on a copy of your own and showing management. They have a duty of care to you as well as demonstrating that his nibs is in the wrong place.

I wasn't very hungry at lunchtime so snacked instead. I've had a satsuma, a bowl of raspberries and yogurt and a slice of ham. We also went out for a good walk. Now looking forward to my dinner. :)

    Hi all,

I didn't get weighed this week, but will go next week. It will be good practice at keeping at target.

Been a bit naughty though - went to Buffet Island today and really pigged out, plus loads of other bad stuff including an iced mince pie (yum).

Back on it tomorrow. Have got 3 weigh ins before I go holiday for a week and because of the timing of the flights I will miss 2 Saturday weigh ins.

Lots of things going on - I have a daughter with learning difficulties and her mock exam results came back on Friday - not impressed at all :o She gets help at school, but sometimes she just doesn't try.

Anyway hope you all have a good week. x

There must be an EHCP plan in place, it is the only way that they can obtain the level of funding for 1-2-1. The SENCO is right, you need the multi-agency EHCP meeting to ensure that all options of support are considered, and only then if the child's needs cannot be met should there be a planned transition. Obviously if his place at school breaks down due to crisis, professionals have to be reactive and attempt to manage this, but it is much better to have planned intervention/planned move.

At the moment he brings in no funding, never has!

All reports go to head and I have a day to day colour chart so at a glance we can see what sort of day it's been.

Anxiety levels are very high at present :(
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    Evening all
Absolutely cream crackered after the journey from hell home (cancelled train and subsequent train full- I was in first class but there was just no room anywhere) got home an hour late  been rushing around like a person possessed getting my bag and clothes ready for the first day of uni tomorrow; just shattered! Had a sneaky weigh and even with food still lying on my stomach I’ve lost 4lbs- I had a good loss last time I was at mum’s too as she mixes up my menus! Cleared the wardrobe of all my size 24 jeans that remained; I have 8 pairs of size 22’s which I’m going to try and wear as long as possible.
    Today’s menu:
    B: HEXB Weetabix and strawberries;HEXA 200 ml S/s milk with 25mls in my decaf coffee;
L: Corned beef pasty with WW wrap (6.5 syns) 3 SW Scotch eggs (6 syns) Big bowl of mixed salad, apple, banana, water
T: 3 Broghies (3 syns) Smoked Salmon, salad, peppermint tea
    Syns: 15.5
    Night all xx

  • Well I completely went off plan today....acted as Pickfords as son moved into his new home today - and spent the day washing & cleaning & taking stuff to the dump but had a Chinese & numerous wine & crisps to celebrate.

Rest of the week will be totally on plan though

Here's hoping we all have a good week, both SW & non SW wise x
