Well done orlao, SunshineMummy and moneysaverme on your losses.

Orlao, 12 hour shifts sound bad. Not surprised you end up needing cake and coffee.
Moneysaverme hope you back feels better soon.
And SunshineMummy try standing still :D:p

I have figured out that the bar changes dependent on where my feet are by 3 lbs. I have moved around, and am taking the highest weight!

    :D:D:D:D:D
If only. Used to be able to eat with them and have an allowance to spend. It's all changed now so if were somewhere 24 hours we take all food with us. It definately didn't help my weight tho lol.

I used to be a project worker with people with LD, we would have all expenses paid for (it was over 20 years ago). We have just employed someone to have mum 2 days a week to take some pressure off us (well mum is paying but she does not realised she is, mum does not need anyone with additional skills at the moment just tons of patience). We (siblings) did have some words as I feel strongly that people should be paid a true living wage rather then minimum wages we ended up agreeing £10 an hour, expenses and mileage (which adds up to still less than going through an agency). It is rather sad reflection of pay and conditions in modern society when we have been inundated with applicants.

Err.....excuse me us Welsh might have a few thoughts on that subject but I digress!

Menu today has been breakfast as normal & will probably have a quick snack (probably my fake steak bake) before everyone comes home. Dinner tonight will be that pepper pot stew again but instead of normal white rice I've got cauliflower rice. Wine is definitely also on the menu as well!

    Wales.... and your point :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I need to figure out cauliflower rice!

    Food today

Breakfast - beans, grilled bacon, poached eggs.
    lunch...... black coffee
Team ..... chicken, onion, mushroom, tinned toms, curry powder, and rice

I have ordered an activity tracker. I have been popping my phone in my pocket when I have a walk but it misses out all the other bits of walking!

I have been on two one hour walks today and only done 16241 steps and 814 kcal. So 3,500 calories is supposed to be 1 lb in weight...... just need another 8 hours walking, it really does not seem fair!

I've thought of nothing else recently! Murmurings in the staff room are that more than me are doing the same. Morale is very low in education at all levels.
I love working with children (even his nibs when he's not violent) I don't know what else I would do though :(
I have told his nibs I would be heartbroken if he couldn't come back to school and it's true, I would. I would also breath a sigh of relief :o and hopefully be less anxious but I would miss him. Really believe the school can't meet his needs though and the head has said this too.
Hoping for a better week (fingers crossed).
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Didn’t think I’d been missing that long! Will need to catch up. In the meantime, well done, losers and hugs for those that need them.

Football is awful – and it causes comfort eating, which is definitely NOT SW friendly.

    See you all later.

    Meh what a day.
Came so close to winning at bingo but didn’t win.
My team lost narrowly and the player I sponsor scored a try- was really happy for him but gutted I missed it :(
Went to my best friend’s 40th birthday party with my sister and had a fab time but could only look longingly at the retro sweet buffet and the normal buffet- I had two pickled onions and a handful of celery, cucumber and pepper sticks and a tiny spoon of tuna pasta. That was the sum total of the stuff from the buffet I could have! I took my own crisps and a HiFi bar and had a couple of flumps. I’m teetotal anyway so I stuck to soda water- that didn’t bother me. I just posted in my group Facebook page that was the first time in 8 weeks- despite being in some really tricky food situations and honestly not being bothered- tonight was the first time I’ve felt deprived :(

    Today’s food:
B: Boiled eggs and asparagus, decaf coffee with HEXA s/s
L: HEXB pastrami salad sandwiches with a HEXA Laughing Cow Light, strawberries and Light and Free yoghurt, packet of Sunbites Sweet and Salt popcorn (2.5 syns) NAS tropical crush, soda water
T: Chicken salad, jacket potato with HEXA Laughing Cow Light, banana, NAS Vimto
S: Pepper, cucumber, celery sticks; 2 pickled onions, tiny spoon of tuna pasta (2 syns for mayo) 2 Flumps (4 syns) Hula Hoops Puft (3.5 syns) HiFi bar (3 syns) soda water
    Syns: 15
    Steps: 7304
Night all- hopefully for all of us who are struggling tomorrow will be a better day xx

  • Congrats on all the losses coming in :T

    Hugs to everyone who's struggling.

Was out and about all day. Packed enough food to feed an army...and ate it all :p It was all on plan but still probably not the best idea. Had a slimming world ready meal when I got in as didn't feel like cooking. Wasn't overly keen on it. Hope the others I got are better

Went to aqua aerobics yesterday. It's a special class for people with arthritis. Considering giving the proper classes a go, but I could barely move last night so might need to reconsider :rotfl:

Trying to decide whether or not I'll get on my own scales in the morning. Sunday morning has always been my weigh day, but afraid I'll just be confusing myself. I'll see how I feel in the morning.

Got a box of the mocha hi-fi bars this week. Had one earlier and I'm really disappointed in them. Going to pick up some of the Aldi bars tomorrow and have them instead. I'll give the hifi bars to mum to try.

    Hi all :A

Wi with STS, ok with this as not had a good week with food plus a school trip so bread product plus crisps :o.

Been a major stressful week, only 1 good day out of 5 with Thursday being the worst( now the exclusion word has been mentioned! Mentioned but not enforced ). Today I'm feeling so tearful (black dog :() and need a hug but hubby is at work :(. Just keep rehashing the week :(.
Then in afternoon I go to support a lovely child but there's another child (more like my morning one) who fights for my attention. Yesterday I had to physically fight my way away from them (not hitting them  but getting them off me). No-one helped
Was so glad to get home :(.
I'm on a course one day next week (for 10 weeks) which starts at 3.30 but I don't finish until 3.15 so will be late every time, this is stressing me out too :(
Still have sciatica so haven't been using my kettle bell and now getting annoyed as I'm gaining a bit of muffin top :(

Oh I don't know, just wish I could sleep all day and everything will be ok :rotfl:

Sorry for the essay, I know some have more pressing issues than mine but the black dog makes everything seem dire. Sorry :(

If the kid you support might be excluded that's not your fault Hun. People have their destiny in their hands. It's their choice what they do. I'd just explain to the tutor about being late, most will be ok with it. Sounds like it's work related so unless they plan on getting a helicopter for you all I don't think you'll be the only one a bit late.

Keep your head up and have a good sleep if you need it. It often catches up with me after a bit. Feels a bit like a bank where the sleep needs topping up sometimes.
    :T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one :) :beer::beer::beer:
