Morning everyone, no excuses for where I've been, I just got fed up watching what I eat all the time and falling on and off the wagon, and went away to live the good life for a bit.
I have managed to get a job in that time though and am looking forward to full-time, regular hours giving me a bit of structure again. Just waiting on references and DBS check but should hopefully be starting in the next couple of weeks. I *was* going to put off a return to SW til then as well, but got a bit of a shock on the scales on Friday when what I first thought was a '5' turned out to be a '9'.
So I've diligently spent the weekend eating up all the non-SW food in the house, and I'll join you for the last couple of weeks of the challenge, just to try to get back to what I was at the start of it
I have been starting to get organised before going back to FT work though in the shape of batch cooking, and currently have 34 portions of SW meals in the freezer, with more to be added. I definitely find SW easier in the colder months as I much prefer stews to salads.
Today:
B - 'Carrot cake' baked oats
D - Bacon, onion, mushroom and tomato scramble thing.
T - SW recipe Italian chicken and tomato soup
HEA - Milk
HEB - Oats
Syns - Sugar in coffee (3), hot choc (2)
BM - 90 minutes of yoga
I don't have the time to read over the entire thread, but it's nice to see Lush posting, and I'm sorry to see things seem to be much the same with you Kathrynha - you're being so strong! Hope everyone else is well!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Its been a good first week for me with a 7lb loss
Well done to all the other losers this week.
We had a 4th birthday party to attend yesterday so lots of temptation but I just had a couple of jaffa cakes.:A Daughter had so many sweets and cake that she ended up being sick late last night. (guilty mammy) It's the 1st time she's ever been sick so she was in shock as she didn't know what was happening. Hearing her say "mammy I'm never going to eat sweets again" was like a fast forward to the teenage drinking years ahead. :rotfl:
Have sent her to school today ignoring the 48hr rule for sickness but surely that doesn't apply to overindulgence.
Today's plan
B Overnight oats and berries HEB
L Egg mushroom tomatoes
D I've got some mince to use so probably a cottage pie and whatever veg titch fancies and I'll add sweet potato to the mash too. maybe a bit of cheese (3)
HEA Milk
Snacks hm oat bar (5) and fruit0 -

:T that's a brilliant loss dejavu. I'm delighted for you.
I suspected you might be too poorly to post kathrynha. Take great care of yourself. Do they think you're reacting badly to the drugs or is this 'normal'? Could they help you at all in hospital? :A
Good to see you back tete.:) Great idea to batch cook in readiness for FT job. Hopefully it'll be easier for you with the structure to your days.
Glad you managed to enjoy the holiday despite 'friend' whiplashy. I hope you have plenty of SW friendly food at home if you can't get out and about. Stay safe.:)
I finished the weekend on about 50 syns so loads left until Thursday. I don't really need them as I'm in such a habit of eating low syn during the week. Maybe I should make myself use them up. Any views?:)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO HB meat/gravy with fried vegchicken stir fry with noodles
Syns: HP sauce 2, honey 2.5, noodles 0.50 -

Wow, brilliant loss.
I've sent my daughter in to school before when I've known the sickness wasn't bug caused. It's only bugs they are worried about.I suspected you might be too poorly to post kathrynha. Take great care of yourself. Do they think you're reacting badly to the drugs or is this 'normal'? Could they help you at all in hospital? :A

It was the drugs to deal with other issues not working as well as they should because of all the other drugs that was causing issues, which when mixed with my drug side effects just totally knocked me out. Slight alteration to some doses, and fingers crossed it wont happen again.
If you don't need the syns I wouldn't use them, as long as you have averaged the 5 a day minimum they recommend.Zebras rock0
