Slight alteration to some doses, and fingers crossed it wont happen again.

If you don't need the syns I wouldn't use them, as long as you have averaged the 5 a day minimum they recommend.

Fingers crossed for you then kathrynha.:)

Thanks for the tip on syns. I can always find room for a Benefit bar or a bit of dark chocolate.:)

Dragged myself into the local village this morning for my GP appointment, but they had a notice on the door saying they're shut until further notice. Went to the supermarket to try and get some SW friendly food but only got a couple of apples. Didn't want to risk venturing any further from home, so today won't be on plan. I'll be depending on whatever I can find in the freezer and cupboards.

Weather is starting to get pretty bad in my area now. Still have electricity but doubt it will last much longer. They're warning it could be out for up to 10 days  That's even with crews coming over from the UK when the weather clears.

First fatality was announced a few mins ago, so in fairness that puts the lack of electricity into perspective.

First time with wifi for ages. Haven't read all the missed pages, just the last couple.

Sorry to hear you've been really poorly again Kathryn but glad you're now out of hospital.

Seem to have been lots going on, as usual.

Meals are sort of on plan most of the time but it's that french bread and red wine that are the problem! No breakfast this morning, bread, butter, ham, pate and salad for lunch. An on plan chicken stew for dinner this evening once it's cooled down a bit. Having to sit in the shade at the moment as it's too hot in the sun, and that's saying something nas I usually love being in the sun.

Seems I've missed a bit of controversy about Aldi products. Is this similar to the Asda problem a while ago?

Have been for a long walk this morning and can feel it in my leg and bum muscles as it is really hilly here in the Lot region.

We're trying to decide where to go next as this area is too hilly for our liking!

Sorry for long post but has been a while since I posted.

Very similar, and they haven't even tried to make the packages look much different from SW meals.

  • Oh heck Kathryn, sounds like you've been going through the mill - fingers crossed the alterations to your meds will help xx

Yikes Whiplashy! I have a friend in Dublin and she texted earlier and just said it was sunny! It's been really yellow/orange here all day (NE Eng), like an eclipse. Friend in Liverpool reports that its starting to get a bit blowy there. I think the wind is meant to hit us just as I need to go out for yoga so that's ace.

Well done Deja Vu, excellent loss!

Maman, did you manage to lose those few pounds you'd put on a while back or are you still going?

Thanks al for the well wishes about my job. It will be a wrench to have to get up early again but overall the routine is much needed for my diet and mental health I think!

Right I'm off out to take down the hanging baskets and put the smaller containers in the shed...

Hi everyone. 10 pages to catch up on so I guess I'll be busy for the next few days :rotfl: Holiday was (mostly) fantastic. Me and mam had a great time, but mums friend did our heads in. She was having a pity party for herself most of the week  I was biting my tongue for the first few days but then I realised that she was doing mums head in too. We kept to ourselves then as much as we could without making it obvious. They've been friends since they were kids so didn't want to cause a scene, but wasn't going to have her ruining our holiday either.

The least said about the food consumed the better :rotfl: There was unlimited dessert.....at lunch and dinner.....and the veg option one night was battered and deep fat fried cauliflower :rotfl:

Wi-Fi was almost non existent and I couldn't get my roaming to connect so have been pretty much off the grid. Heard from a couple of people we met that a hurricane was due to hit Ireland tomorrow, but thought it was just a tail end of one like we sometimes get. Got home this evening to find out that there's a red alert issued for the whole country from 6am tomorrow morning  Ireland is pretty much closed :rotfl: Notice after notice of closures have been going up on the internet all evening. Last I heard they were just advising not to leave the house! I'm due to see my GP in the morning. Don't know if he'll be open, and if he is, if I'll risk the journey. Think it might be best to just give up on tomorrow and not bother getting out of bed until Tuesday :rotfl:
Sorry you had a bu=it of a mare of holiday :(
    Stay safe x

Its been a good first week for me with a 7lb loss
Well done to all the other losers this week.

We had a 4th birthday party to attend yesterday so lots of temptation but I just had a couple of jaffa cakes.:A Daughter had so many sweets and cake that she ended up being sick late last night. (guilty mammy) It's the 1st time she's ever been sick so she was in shock as she didn't know what was happening. Hearing her say "mammy I'm never going to eat sweets again" was like a fast forward to the teenage drinking years ahead. :rotfl:

Have sent her to school today ignoring the 48hr rule for sickness but surely that doesn't apply to overindulgence.

    Today's plan
B Overnight oats and berries HEB
    L Egg mushroom tomatoes
D I've got some mince to use so probably a cottage pie and whatever veg titch fancies and I'll add sweet potato to the mash too. maybe a bit of cheese (3)

    HEA Milk
Snacks hm oat bar (5) and fruit

    Well done, brill loss:T:T:T
Tete congratulations on your new job:T:T:T

    Evening all :D

That looks really great bubbs. Are they Aldi mushrooms?:D

Unfortunately I'm still trying to chase away those few extra pounds tete. Thanks for asking.:) I've followed the plan 100% fro two weeks and not shifted anything but I'm plodding on. With any luck it'll be gone before my holiday next month and then I'll start all over again!:D

Thanks for calling by denise. How far down are you planning to go? I'd go over and see the Millau Bridge and then down into Provence otherwise you'll e going towards the Pyrenees which is even more hilly!:D
