I've not done so well today however I have made leek and potato soup and the lazy/speedy tomato soup (tinned tomatoes, baked beans, tin of carrots, some pickled onions) to get me through this week. and tomorrow I think I will make cottage pie to see us through the week :)

hubs has turned on Match of the Day so I have retreated upstairs. He should be going on his game afterwards for a while so a bit of peace for me :) I've found something on iplayer with Benedict Cumberbatch (such a wonderfully unconventionally beautiful man and supremely talented. the female lead also has a divine accent like merida from Disney's Brave) in to watch...totally not his style so win win all round :) ETA:strike that the reason she sounds so like Merida is because she voiced her! New levels of admiration for her straight away...I'm such a Disney freak!

hoping for a half decent week as its a rugby weekend next fri-sun which means a premier inn and very limited food choices (no hope of taking anything with us given everything else we lug around for the sport!)

I've made a plan for the following week and I will shop only for that plan and take it one week at a time rather than throwing myself at a month and losing my way part way through!

  • Hi,

This week it's MINUS 3 lb

I'm shattered and life isn't exactly running to plan at the moment. I am reading and mentally encouraging everyone but just not posting much. Still on plan and trying hard. Clothes I haven't worn in ages are fitting again. I'm very happy to have broken into the next stone bracket and I'm well on my way down to my next 5lb chunk which is how I choose to focus on my weight loss.

This week has been a good week for weight loss. Now just got to sort the rest out!!

    Really wishing everyone well x
