  • Hi I've decided to re-start my weight loss and follow the Slimming World plan without going to the group. Can I join in with you all please? Starting weight is 11-8 and would love to lose about a stone to start off with - years ago my target weight was 9-12 but not sure if that's too low now xx

Welcome. A number of people on here follow the plan without going to group.

This current challenge only has 2 weeks left, but we will be starting a new one after that. If you let me know how much you want to lose in the next 2 weeks, I can add you to the spreadsheet.

For your final total, google SBMI. It's a bit different than the normal BMI, and your target range changes the older you get. It was mentioned on this thread the other week, but I hadn't heard of it till then.

Sorry to hear you've been poorly Kathrynha - hope you're getting a lot of tlc.

Well done deja vu - you'll have to share your secret.

Went walking with the dog tonight & it certainly blew the cobwebs away - hope Whiplashy you're ok.

Well after yesterday's complete failure SW wise I've got back with it - had a bit of an sp day - cooked diet cola chicken tonight as I've decided I need proper food even if it is eaten late. Had it with cauliflower rice ....interestingly enough hubby thought that it was also disgusting but it's light enough to be eaten late.

Now munching in a hifi bar as my treat.

    Stay safe everyone

No super long term secret unfortunately, gettingtheresometime just riding the high of being a newbie (again) freshly back on plan and still motivated.

Thanks for the spreadsheet Kathrynha, fingers crossed the damage won't be as bad as you think.

    Today,
    Breakfast Yogurt and a banana
    Lunch Poached eggs on toast
Dinner My daughter's favourite "Pirate" risotto (mushroom risotto with "jewels" of peas, sweetcorn, diced mixed peppers, red onions and carrots. I'll add a little cheese in for some syns and a side salad or green beans so I don't fill my plate with it.
