MSE does not allow the posting of referral codes anywhere on the Forum, other than the official Referral Codes sub-forum area, here:-

Has anyone successfully managed to sign up for an account via a referral link (where it says the name of the person that referred you_... and then gone back via TCB/Quidco. If so did it work as expected?

Smarty has launched a new tariff which costs £5 a month.
Mini:
Unlimited calls to 01/02/03 numbers;
unlimited UK texts;
inclusive MMS messages; and
500MBytes of data.
I guess usual exclusions apply, such as calls and texts to the Channel Islands and Isle of Mann. And premium rate text messages aren't included.
With (free) WiFi being available almost everywhere I go I rarely use mobile data now, so I've dropped down from their £7.50 tariff to this new offering.
I was due to receive ~£2 off my bill, but appear to have lost that.
As Smarty charges £1.25 for each extra GByte of data on all its tariffs, except their top-end unlimited one, I don't see any advantage to using their small, medium or large offerings.

SMARTY is a great network provider, from experience if you use less data then you are paying they refund you the difference and I have never had an issue with signal and the 4g is very quick and seem to get it in most locations.0

Newbie here. Sorry if post in wrong place. No or poor smarty signal in 'just" some parts of woodbridge in suffolk but perfect signal on three. Louis from customer services has told me smarty use other masts than three in some areas. Whats going on? Why not use the good three network its supposed to be piggy backing off. My moto g8 4g fine in many areas but my friends on 3 network get signal next to me when i get nothing.
Can smarty help, anybody?0 -
Smarty as yet doesn’t use the lower frequency 800MHz 4G layer as yet, that’s the reason why...I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

I ordered a smarty SIM arrived next day, when I opened the packet I noticed two sim cards with one saying give this to a friend which I did, he went online to register and to activate the SIM but after signing up it asked him to pick a monthly plan which he choose the £10 a month plan paid for it and the next page to come up was thank you your SIM is on its way. So what happened to the SIM I gave him which he still has but was never loaded with the £10 he wanted to put on it as the next day he received a SIM in the post which he tried to activate and it worked, so what's the point of these extra Sims being sent out to new customers if they are useless cause your friends need to wait for a SIM of there own once they pay for a plan via the website. Or am I really missing how to use the friend SIM.0
