Yes - and in a way, it is also the 'government's' fault that there is so much greed in our society, and that even 22-year-olds consider that they absolutely deserve to own a house (not even a flat, mind). This 'government' has encouraged greed in order to earn short-term popularity for itself - along with a lot of other connected and unconnected things, like:

    1. Massive immigration of people from all over the world, without vetting their suitability as 'useful' citizens and making sure they will not be a drag on the economy or cause social problems.

    1. A growing economy requires a growing workforce. As the unemployed consist of people who can't work and work shy tosspots (who complain the benefits aren't enough to cover for their repayments on theirFocus ST) we therefore need workers from outside these shores.

Is a useful citizen an unskilled polish person who WILL pick those strawberries you buy at wimbledon?

    2. Encouraging the population to get itself massively into debt in order that the pension issue can be shelved while they are in power (while making sure they will get high pensions themselves, of course).

    2. I don't remember Tony Blair advertising gucci handbags? People have a responsibility for their own finances. Granted Mortgage misselling is a huge issue (thanks largely due to commision based mortgage brokers). Pensions have always been an issue and will always will be due largely to the nightmare scenario of a vastly ageing population. WE NEED TO BREED!!

Sorry to go on about this, but I am so angry at the dangerous clowns who 'rule' this country.

And the alternative? Cameron (I'm getting desperate so I'll use the good old Tory tax cut plan) I saw a programme on 20th century prime ministers and Thatcher was severely slated for her sweeping tax cuts that "destroyed a generation."

Or ming the merciless? Bless the old boy. But seriously who is there???
