Morning all,
Firstly huge hugs to Valli xxx
It's. The. Last. Day. Of. The. School. Holidays
kiddies are so excited for going back to school and Pre-school (DD goes into year 1, and DS gets 30 free hours now so school hours basically). I can go back to working and actually having a shower/wee/brew in peace :T
I have mounds of laundry to deal with, school uniform to collect from M&S (thanks MiL :T) and have promised them a trip out for ice cream. Of course we have all come down with colds just in time too
Best unload the DW and make some toast before the cries of 'I'm starving' commence xxMFW

I hope you enjoy the bike ride, you have lovely weather and it goes well, YL.Jojo_the_Tightfisted wrote: »How much do ipads go for once they've made a crunching sound under your boots?
Think I've helped him declutter around six hundred-and five-quid. That's Flylady worthy, isn't it?
At least! Sorry about being drenched, but you're the only person I've come across that has come off better than a random bully so thanks for that. And thanks for the update regarding bouncing later. Very satisfying.
It's our 24th anniversary today so we're spending it indulging ourselves. We had a day out yesterday doing what we always do on our annivesary because the forecast for today was merde and yesterday was sunny. 24 years seems extraordinary; I think we're both extremely surpised by surviving this long together.
Flying will be only the absolute necessaries today and then sewing followed by dinner cooked by OH with a pear and blackberry crumble made by me.Better is good enough.0 -
Happy anniversary HB xx
It's very autumnal here today. I LOVE September, a time of change and the nip in the air makes me want to light the wood burner!
Kiddies are in the bath, and we have decided to have a cheeky Chinese for tea. Will light some tea lights shortly and all cosy up in onesies with a film. And maybe some wine for me
Hope to see some more faces next week, see you all on the new thread, have lovely evenings all xxMFW

:rotfl:ROFLMAO - Only Piggers could come up with that!!jojo.. all slugs need to die.. they are Gods bogies!
Valli (((HUGS))) perhaps the tears are best decluttered? Sometimes a good sob is cathartic. x
Sweet FA done today - I'm always on a downer the day after a doggie goes home.
We did go out and pick 12 oz of blackberries though, and I've made a quiche and a blackberry'n'apple crumble. I was very brave and used the gas oven, instead of wimping out and using the electric combi/micro like I usually do. I will get to grips with cooking with gas..... If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
