    1.5 cups water
1 egg (out of the shell!)
    1.5 tbsp dried milk
1.5 tbsp oil (whatever you've got I've used alsorts)
    3/4 cup sugar
3 cups bread flour (I have used plain and it's been fine too!)
    1 tsp salt
    3/4 cup cocoa powder
    1.5 tsp dried yeast

Usually I chuck the lot in the breadmaker.. and when it bleeps I add 50g of smashed up chocolate.. chill a big bar of chocolate until hard when whallop with hammer!!

Otherwise make to the usual bread recipe and bake in the oven as normal.. doesn't take quite as long as a normal bread loaf though. I chop it into chunks rather than slices and out it in lunch boxes.. sometmies we slice it and toast it and spread with jam, honey, lemon curd or butter or I just eat it naked.. like a muffin..

Found it on a search.. I know I would forget otherwise

Sweet loaf setting or basic loaf will do.. or if very adventurous.. a real oven

    Morning all

sings *Solway's in lurrrrrve Solway's in lurrrrrrrrrrve* :D well she must be if she is prepared to embrace untidiness ;) really pleased for you .

Well they left here in clean uniform with neat hair, after doing A's for the third time, she stuck a hair band on after the first attempt and then her coat hood on after the 2nd! Almost made us late for school. Told her to make sure she put's W's hair back behind his ears!!!! Keeping everything crossed lol

Mmmmm well plan of action here is not a lot flywise. I have to let some visiting bell ringers in at church at 10.30 and go back at 11.30 to let them out again so thought I'd call and get some flowers to take to DH while I am out. Then I shall nip up to the other church where the pews (the ones I am selling) are with a couple of friends to show them and have a catchup/gossip. Better get off my bum now and do something before I leave in an hour.

    Almond loaf

    beat 2 eggs
    add 150g almond powder/ground almond
add 6 desert spoons olive oil (you can use butter if you don't like the taste, but I think it works well in nutty things, and good for your heart)
    add 6 desert spoons sugar
add 4 desert spoons s.r flour

    Mix everything together..

Pour/spread into a greased 1lb loaf tin and cook for 45mins on Gas 6

courtesy of Rikki!! Be warned this is DIVINE I've had 2 slices for breakfast and the one I cooked for todays lunches I ate in one sitting!!!

Well, I've tidied downstairs and DD1's school bag to school for her cause she forgot it. I've got bedlinen in TD and another load in WM.
I'm just having a coffe then I'm off upstairs to tackle my bedroom. It's actually not that bad, just little things that I haven't quite finished....

Back from the school run and just having a coffee (Anyone else want one?:coffee::coffee::coffee:) Now the question is...since I have this "thing" on (:D) do I attack the house like Anthea is coming so it's all done and I can concentrate on other things, OR do I just stick to the lists and hope that this thing happens Saturday

Right, decision made - I'm going to get changed into my "scruffs" (read - vest top & crop pants :rotfl: ) and attack the rooms that are left this week after this load of washing is out on the line, while the next load washes. Shouldn't take long (leaving windows as OH cleaned the car at the weekend and used half my cleaning cloths  which is one of the loads of washing I need to do!) and then I can take all the washing over the laundrette to dry, pop to Asda maybe at some point for bananas, or should I just pay through the nose at the Co-op ( If I go to Asda I'll end up buying more than just bananas, I know what I can be like  ) ? Do the ironing tonight or while DD is at the school disco as there isn't much AND then have 2 days free of jobs except dailies :D:D

RIGHT list for today then with basic cleaning in the rooms (where's last weeks list?):

    DAILIES
    • Beds
    • Kitchen S&S
    • Bathroom S&S
    • Washing
    • Weeks jobs
      • Join DD's gloves together with ribbon to put through coat (to stop her loosing just the one again!)
      • Make "snake" for behind front door.
      • Inventory of stuff in rooms as I go - 30 mins perday. Can roll over until next week
      • Update Money
      • Set up a budget for the rest of the month until Paydays for each of us. (4-6 days apart  )
      • Start HGP lists - amended version for me as I have a much smaller house and it started back in August :o (as seen here : http://holidaygrandplan.com/ )
      • Gather ideas for Christmas gifts
      • Update Christmas Card list - thinking save money and send an e-card to people abroad who's email addresses we have ;)

Morning everyone! I've finally had a chance to catch up with the thread properly and actually had time to write a reply this morning before I head off to work. I've had a bad week of not flying so far, but am determined to catch up tonight as I don't have a spare room or kids room. Was going to fly when I got home from work on Monday, bu the gas man who was meant to arrive between 8am and 1pm, didn't turn up til 5.35pm so I had to relieve my MIL who hadn't been able to eat all day (I was meant to do the food shop after work so there was nothing in), and then supervise gas man til 8pm (servicing boiler) before heading to supermarket.

Anyway, enough ranting, hope everyone with poorly friends (hope it all goes well LJD1) and rellies feel better soon, and congratulations to all of the newbies who are doing so well, as well as Solway on her new man, and all of the expectant mummys.

I'll try to pop in tonight to catch up, and track down my list, which will have disappeared into the ether by now.

    sexymouse xx

PS. Thank you tinselfairy for noticing that I had been absent.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
