hi all well tuesday wasn't terrible for me but was pants so i have done no flying other than vacuum dining room floor. i did do a stack of paperwork. I messed up over the weekend with finances and realised there wasn't enough in account (v cross with self) then paid cash in yesterday b ut they still returned the dd as money wasn't in by 9am! so today they rejected dd and charged me £34 - it was for cc so was then worried would lose 0% - did lots of crying and bank lady said my own fault and no refund or help - i advised her quite forcefully that i rang for help and was told no help for me as no telephone banking pin number  aha but they listened to the phone call and when i got home they had refunded the money under bank error :j so felt really pleased with my victory. still cross about letting it get to that and also about day wasted sobbing!
just about to eat bacon sarnies curled up But pigpen would LOVE the choc loaf recipe please - and thanks for doing little rooms tomorrow will hopefully enable me to catch up on kitchen
right all see you later
p.s i told my friend i did flylady - she is in pr and they were discussing ways of informing customers about financial issues and she mentioned my use of this thread and they all wanted the website!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
oh -please don't scare me with twin talk. I think i would seriously have a heart attack
sister had assumed i was having a miscarriage or ectopic as both sisters have experience in this. Horrible. I would have rang her if that were the case. glad it is not just me who thinks it is out of order.
LJD - hope your friend makes a good recovery like my aunty did eventually. When they are unconcious is the worst as its hard to know what to say, but you will feel better that you have done something constructive, and will probably take some pressure off her folks.0 -
Hey,
I've done nothing this evening. I'm terrible come the evening time. If it doesn't get done before tea time....then stuff it, I say.
So, tomorrow I will be doing the master bedroom...I have some stuff to list on turbo lister, I have some stuff to put in the loft ( DH also has stuff I'd like him to put in the loft, but Its a case of gently, gently), I have some stuff that just needs to be put away, I have a couple of drawers that need tidying out and the contents put in better places. Then, I think its just stripping the bed and dusting and hoovering.
I also need to take the dog for a walk and do bass practise..
I'm finding that as the weeks go by and I'm getting rid of more stuff and keeping things generally tidy, I've got more time. I just need to find something that I enjoy to do in that time!!0 -

You mean you think I'm not subtle??
In our house 'tact' means you've stuck it to the wall with drawing pins!!!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hello everyone.
All I have managed today are a few jobs of the kitchen list.
Came home from work, collected DS from school and then we had to go and do a shop as didn't get it done at the weekend. Much prefer going on my own, how many different ways can a child ask for a bar of chocolate even though the answer is no each and every time? :rotfl:
Will carry forward all jobs not done to Friday and have a blitz then.
My DH knows about my flying and thinks it's a bit barmy, but knows I live by lists and the whole thing has got me more organised and less stressed.
Michelle- have a good rest again tomorrow.
LJD- hope all ok at the hospital tomorrow.
Congrats to all those with lots achieved and tidy cupboards and hugs to anyone who needs one....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Hugs Michelle - thats really out of order - for all they knew your pregnancy wasn't common knowledge! I would defo take more sick leave now - for your health and to get away from that!!
Hugs LJD - not been in that situation but sounds like you are doing the best thing xx
Glad its kids rooms tomorrow pigpen as they are still ok from Friday cos they were at their dads til sunday! Means I can maybe start sorting the toy boxes!
Baked jam tarts and flapjacks and did what was needed in kitchen tonight so am happy! And going to be huge if I keep eating this baking tho!!0 -
Today went pretty well - my kitchen sparkles for the first time in ages - even OH noticed.
Tomorrow not too bad as spare room in OK shape. Must try to do the shopping again tomorrow as Asda was evacuated when I tried earlier (and no hunky firemen in sight!):(
Think I will look around to see if the shops have their Xmas catalogues in yet - one of my pre-Xmas rituals is grabbing all the catalogues, waiting for a cold day and putting my feet up with a huge mug a hot chocolate with an old soppy movie on the DVD. What says Xmas to all the lovely Flyladies? (nice things for preference rather than seething outlaws!) :rolleyes:I'd rather be watching CSI!0
