LJD1, big hugs, hope your friend makes a full recovery soon, will be thinking of you both
Michelle, I am shocked, what a stupid thing for her to say
Punky hope the celebration goes well, Happy Birthday to Mr Punky :D
Hugs to anyone else who wants/needs one. With 5 pages to catch up on I left my memory behind on page 10 I think.

Somehow, the list is done :D inc taking cupboards down and over, DP also went crackers in the garage and ripped all the old shelves down. Unpacked the food we took over aswell. The space in the kitchen is much better than I thought. I've also packed another 6 boxes to take over :D will be back in the morning with an equal size list, just pray tomorrow that the paint in the bedroom looks ok once it is dry, round the top needs another coat which I know, but hopefully 4 coats on the rest has done it!!
One day I might be more organised...........

Well done to everyone else today, good job done all round from what I have read. Michelle I agree with the others, terrible handling of the situation by school. LJD will be thinking of you tomorrow, you'll be fine at the hospital and it doesn't matter if you go to pieces on us lot ;) that's what we are all here for, to support each other.

Better rescue uniforms out of the dryer, school pics tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed we get a good one, need it for Christmas presents!!

    Night night all xx

  • Morning all. I didn't fly at all yesterday, in fact I was hardly in the house. Thankfully I don't have kids, and my spare room is the rat room which was sorted out at the weekend, so nothing really to do in there, hence I can do yesterdays list today.

The ex has found a flat, so hopefully all the checks should go through and then he can move out, just need to hassle him to find out when he's planning on finishing off the things that I wanted doing - grrrrrr

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Vacuum floors and sofas
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    • Clean a window or two.
    • Ring someone you love, just to tell them you love them!!
    Deep Clean Challenge
Clean light fittings, skirtings even the ones behind furniture. Clean fire-surrounds. Wipe sofa's down. Clear as may hotspots as you can.. see if you can get it all into one pile instead of 15!!!

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Clean floors
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. an old toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    • Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
    Deep Clean Challenge
Get in that pan cupboard. Give it all GOOD scrub out before replacing the things you need to keep. If no pan cupboard do a different one! Feel free to get carried away and do more cupboards!!!

My list for the week (alternatively known as the stuff that didn't get done today)
    Put cover back on sofa
Ditch broken DVD player, box up amplifier
Put TV back where it used to be
    Clean skirting in lounge
Put curtain rail back up properly and rehang the remaining curtains
Move drawers back into bay window in lounge

    Sort through blanket box
    Clear bedside cabinets
Tidy tools and stuff from spareroom away
Move books / cds from study and storage to bookshelves on landing - in progress
    Clear paperwork on desk

Morning all, well I started on the bedroom, but until it gets a bit later I can't do the vacuuming so I'll leave it for a minute.
WM is on, so tumbledryer will be on shortly, then the second load which includes the bed covers etc can go in.
All my boot sale junk has been shoved under the bed for the minute, I will sort it properly when I get back from my short hol. At least it's out of the way! Couple of things tackled, and now I'm going to make a start on the dreaded ironing while I wait for the people in the upstairs flat to wake up.

    Wacky Wednesday - Bed room

    Level One
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! paint your nails, make an appointment to have your hair done, a lovely soak in the bath.. whatever you feel like!!
    Level Two
[strike]Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc[/strike]
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
    Level Three
[strike]Strip beds, turn[/strike] and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    Extra Task List
    • 30 minutes ironing.. you love me & you know it!
    Daily Tasks:
    Dishes
    Brush dog
    Walkies
    Clean yard

    To do list:
    Washing
Wash and vacuum car. Check oil etc.
Sort out the pile of [strike]junk[/strike] quality items that didn't sell at the boot sale.
Ring local paper and list some of ^^^ for sale. List rest on eBay.
Tackle my huge pile of ironing.
[strike]Sort & tidy thru my bedroom drawers.
    [/strike]
Start packing for Fri, or at least write a list.
Get some plaster mix & fix hole in the kitchen wall (made by poochie!)

Back in the saddle and raring to go! It's been a whole week since I followed the list and the thread. Anyone feel up to a quick summary gossip-wise for me?

I've just seen Blokey off to work after having him stay at mine since Friday and a couple of days off together.Man could seriously drive me bonkers unless I learn to embrace untidyness.. The house is an outrage and I've been itching to spend some time cleaning but I've got the rest of the week off to do some jobs so I'm going for the deep clean mission.
No kids room here so today I'm going to backtrack and play catch up. I see the rooms are switched about this week - I'll bet that threw a few folks!
Quick cuppa while I write my list of must do's this week. Then I'm going to make a start in the kitchen.
Yay, I'm back in the land of Flylady and I feel less frustrated already!!

Have a good day, hugs to those who need one. Back later.

    Morning all :hello:

I have a mountain of washing to do, hotspots have appeared on the desk which are annoying me :o but the rest of the place looks great :D *polishes halo* I think I need to go shopping today, I might see if I can put it off until tomorrow.

Discovered last night that I have something on sometime in the next couple of days but I'm not saying anything more except :D:j:D NO it's not a date :p Nor is it me and OH getting back together, or me going out for a job or anything like that. I'm just looking forward to something very much :DMUM and Johanne if you're reading this I'm not telling you two either! :p

Right, I think I should go and sort out some washing to put on and hurry DD up. Laters
