Nice to see everyone's still completely mad....makes me feel as though I fit in. Kitchen only had a cursory fly today as worked all day, did food shop, picked children up, helped with homework, music etc and then let them colour in some toys (a craft set that DD got when she was 3 and she's now 8!). Slowly going through the last of their craft sets to make room for Christmas.
Tomorrow I'll give the kitchen a clean and do a bit of a fling in DDs room. She's done quite a lot in there. DSs room just needs wiping down as it's still tidy.
Visiting a friend in intensive care in the morning so quite worried about but know I need to see her and I want to. She's still unconscious so I'll just prattle on about nothing to her. Knowing her she'll wake up to tell me to shut up!
PS When I say worked all day I mean school hours not all day, all day! xxJanuary budget

Does that mean i can see invisible people when no-one else can???? :rotfl: Hope it isn't like the 6th Sense, or perhaps i have other issues that need urgent attention from a psychiatrist!!!
Have just dealt with something else. I had a phonecall from my sister who was really upset/worried about me. Apparently my supply teacher from today told my y11 class that i had been taken to hospital - and it was because i am pregnant. Luckily my brothers girlfriend is in that class so i have found out straight away, but my sister was frantic as she couldn't get in touch with me as i was upstairs bathing charlie and didn't hear the phone when she rang the 1st dozen times.
so i have just sent a very sternly worded email to my head, and copied in the plonkers from the science department who supposedly run it, and my union rep, as i am absolutely steaming about my personal business being the subject of kids gossip before necessary. How bad will that be if all is not well at the scan on Friday???
Anyway - calming breaths - will not get stressed. I am not going in again tomorrow, so need to sort some cover work for tomorrow, but then i may get this drs note and get signed off. Then i can leave the loonies in charge of the asylum.
Michelle, x
oh - and DH knows i am a flylady, and thinks it is a good idea. He has just done all the yukky smelly bits from dinner, and has offered to take charlie to nursery for me again in the morning so i don't have to get up at 6:30 and can have a rest, even though he is equally poopered. Will have to think of a nice wedding anniversary pressie for him for later this month.0 -
