I need 4 AA batteries for my 'me' time!
Niki, your thing sounds like fun, will have to wait till hubby finishes work and he may be able to give me a hand.
No flying yet, never mind the list, all I have to do in the kids room is...
Wash window
change beds (and vacuum mattreses)
hoover floor
tidy out of place toys
then...
S&S kitchen
S&S living room
clean and moisturise sofas for sofa man tomorrow
S&S bathroom
dry school uniform and hubby's work clothes
maybe
Paint outside chairs with linseed oil (wear gloves)
also
DS1 to anchor boys
I have doen 30mins ironing though!0 -
Meant to say earlier, Michelle, I haven't read the posts for a while, are you off work poorly? I hope things are ok with you.
Nicki, even more intrigued now! I'm having some good guesses though after those clues...can we play yes/no 20 questions? Do you have to leave the house to do this thing?
Tiamai, ha ha, I've missed being on here just for yours and Pigpen's sauce!
Well an hour later than predicted and the kitchen, pantry and broom cupboard have been scrubbed to oblivion. I love Starclen. I've even done the backdoor and catflap. I've still got to finish the decorating in the kitchen, maybe Friday once the rest of the house is tidy.
Lunch and another cuppa then I'm going to hit the livingroom. Sofa throws book shelves, the whole bally lot. I'm going to have to shift Fat Bob though. He's not been in the house for 4 days while blokey was here - he doesn't like men- and is spark out on a fluffy blanket. Other cat approves of him though, she was tarting around him like a giggly school girl. Like her mother ha!

I've printed off the recipe for almond loaf but I'll have to wait for next week's shopping before I can make it, I've added ground almonds and olive oil to my list! I don't like the texture of nuts but I like the flavour of almonds so it should be OK. If not I know DH will eat it.0

And now I feel sick.. a bowl of casserole, a slice of chocolate fudge cake AND a slice of almond loaf.. and 2 cuppas.. *burp* Guess I won't be eating tonight!!
I've done my list.. well all that I can.. Best go grab that bath.. might have half hour in bed first though.. sleep off some cake!!
Actually, I'll do half hour kitchen flinging.. it is bit messy in there... I think I am on one this week!! and I do have the advantage of knowing what is on the list for tomorrow!!!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

No you're not :rotfl: Nail varnish and me just don't mix unless it clear stuff :rotfl: I used to have pretty black and red nails when I was in school and had no housework to do...now there's a thought! I wonder if there's any nailvarnish in the bits shop opposite school - I've already got red :D :rotfl:
Right, looks like I'm going to be chilly going to the laundrette - I've just put my jeans in the washing machine by accidentI scooped up the dark washing and threw it all in, I went back up the stairs to get the last load of washing and noticed my jeans weren't there :rotfl: No I'm not going pantless (for some reason I have a feeling that thought might flick across some peoples minds...not mentioning any names Pigpen
) I've got cropped pants on! At least it will be warm inside
Now do I make lunch then do dishes & tea or do I do it the other way around, do dishes/tea and then have lunch? LUNCH!:rotfl::rotfl:
