Well, thats the kids beds stripped, toys put away (haha there was none!) window washed (icky!).

Washing machine, no doubt the rubber belt thingy has slipped off, thats what it was last time. However, maybe there is a really good WM/TD package! *goes to look* via quidco....

We got it free almost 6 years ago, its had a good run. I did promise something to hubby if he got me a TD... its so worth a sore jaw! :j

  • you lot make me laugh so much.

Well i rang in work and told them i will be off till next monday now. I've had a bowl of muesli for my 1st lunch, and then a slice of cheese on toast with ketchup for my 2nd lunch with a slice of nephews birthday cake in the middle. The only way i can not be sick is to eat pretty much on the hour.

The house stinks of vinegar as i am descaling the steriliser as we have finished doing Charlie bottles of formula. Only a couple of weeks till his birthday, and i can't be doing with the faffing anymore. That can go away for a good while now as the plan will be to start breastfeeding again. The bench will look loads tidier for that. DH will have loads of boxes to put in the loft at the weekend. :D

Playing scrabble again online with DH. We are practicing so we can beat his parents the next time we play with them. ;)

solway did you miss me announcing i was pregnant? I am not 'ill' just suffering from exhaustion and morning sickness. Not helped by stress at work i am sure.

i have also dealt with the post - only 3 bits, i am so disappointed. There must be more in the system as we were expecting a copy of our credit card bill. Might just pay that online now while i am thinking about it.

Anyway, just going to sort out a few things that need to go in the post box today now it will be collected, and hang up Charlie's bedding from the WM.

Not done much more - another load of washing - yet more ironing. DD's wind chime is driving me nuts - you have to make the shapes using plaster of paris, leave them for 30 mins then get them out, leave for another 5 mins, then put holes in using a knitting needle. Well the large flower is perfect - no problem - I've so far done 3 lots of the smaller 2 shapes and every one has broke when I've tried to put the holes in it.

Going to fetch DS in a minute, pick up a paper on the way (it's jobs night) and then better do some tea before I go to work.

Just need to remake our bed but I'm going to use the sheets & pillowcases which are currently in the washing machine so they'll be all soft and cozy after tumbledrying them :D Tea was going to be lasagne (still :rotfl: ) so I'll see how I'm doing later on, might do it in the oven so it goes all crispy on the top  Off for a game of scrabble while I wait for the washing machine :D

LJD,hugs to you today. I'm afraid I haven't read the posts but you sound pretty emotional.

I'm in the livingroom now, I kind of got carried away vacc'ing under the furniture and it's all in the middle of the room, empty book cases too, so I'm having a bit of a play moving things around. I need wireless internet I've decided. I'm sick of cables running across the floor from the hall and having to kneel at a tiny coffee table with the laptop every day.. ooh me veins.
The sun's out now too so fingers crossed I get the sofa covers and throws and bedding dry today. If it's nice tomorrow I think the curtains can come down for a wash too... Going great guns now!
Back for a cuppa at 3 if anyone wants one.

Nearly all the washing dry now, just four things left, so I took them off the line, cut the grass and put them back up!

All the rest folded and put away.

Going to sit in the garden and read for a while now - yes, it really is that nice out there!
  • right, well i have just got home since 9am and now caught up on the posts - what an entertaining morning you have all had! Pigpen i have told you before come here for a cuppa! can't you move to devon - unfortunately (not that i have hundreds of friends) but i seem to do too much each day and end up doing nothing - today i had preschool rota, then swimming with dd2 and then i normally see a friend on a wed pm but she needed to cancel today so that is good! so instead of flying i read about you lot - this is why i shouldn't visit here!

right - to shame myself into doing my kitchen i took photos of it before i left this morning - if i don't get it sorted i am going to post them later!! and if i do i might be brave and post a before and after!

right - i am not coming back until the kitchen is done!!

on except today that i too was thinking nicki was selling her body!!!!! and also having only been back a few days i also thought you were very giggly Nicki

    You guys crack me up.....

I too have just caught up on a couple of pages of posts. I don't how you guys get anything done. I know that I'm skiving when I'm on here...

I have managed everything except my bass practise, I hate practising anything. Love playing it, though, but then wonder why I'm not very good!!
So, I will try and do that later....

I was thinking, when I was taking the dog out for a walk, how I can get so engrossed with cleaning/ tidying/ decluttering that I'm actually not finding time to do anything else.
Do you guys do anything else???

I've decided( we'll see how long it lasts!!) that I'm going to try to get into a morning routine so that come lunch time my time is my own. So I can go and see someone or....( can't think of anything else and there is only one person I can think of going to see, gosh..I'm more of a boring bar*tard than I thought!) You get the idea...

How do you guys organise your day...or does it all just fall together?
