Well I have just re-arranged dd1's bedroom and moved some stuff into the spare room for dd2 who will be moving in there at the weekend, just waiting on some new bedding I ordered to make the move easier! Hoovered the room and sorted out the toys......why do kids end up with so many toys......and bits of toys that you can't find the rest of! Cleaned kitchen and finished off what I didn't do yesterday. Not bothering to do lunge until kids are in bed later. Off to cook tea now!:D

    Hiya
Still not done much flying today. Think i'll just go round and have a general tidy up. I managed to end up with a couple extra for tea though that's nothing compared with the numbers pigpen cooks for every day!!! I've just got the brownie run ahead of me and then i'm done. Might walk back via the off license for a bottle of wine. Treat time I think! So, it's 15 mins swishing and flinging for now and i'll do a bit more later.

I've got this image of pigpen kissing the postman now, or is it the tesco delivery man? This thread certainly cheers me up.

    Speak soon xx

PS I think my thanks button is on strike....it's behaving very eratically!

If nibbled properly, your tounge should not be sore! :p

Freckles and red hair are like tea and cake, can't have one without the other. Plus it gives you something to look at....

Missed a page of posts when I was reading before, Michelle, yes I knew about your pregnancy and that you'd gone back to work, I guess the two combined are just taking it's toll? Look after yourself.
    Hi Tinsel, thanks!
Rach, wow that's a bit of a deal on the rooms! Well done you.

I'm slowing down for a bit now. Apart from loads of damp washing from the livingroom still to dry somehow (no change for the launderette today) and the curtains still to do, the livingroom is done, paintwork washed, the lot. Same for the hall. And the kitchen is sparkly too.
I managed an hour in the garden just now mowing the leaves up. I want to get it put to bed for winter this week while I'm off so a little a day should do the trick weather permitting.
I'll do some ironing this evening and paperwork filing and will have to do some of tomorrow's list too as I stripped my bed this morning.

Can't inspire you for tea I'm afraid Pigpen, leftovers of stirfry and noodles for me. One day I WILL eat food that I didn't prepare the day (or the week )before..

    Who's counting!?!?! ;)

Tia.. I don't like cake.. so that explains the freakles.. If I nibble any other way my tongue doesn't get sore but the roof of my mouth does.. maybe I should only eat one at a time instead of 2 or 3..

Phew, busy day today, had a friend round for a chat, a cuppa and scrabble, as well as tackling the cleaning.

    Wacky Wednesday - Bed room

    Level One
[strike]Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
    [strike] Tick
[strike]Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! paint your nails, make an appointment to have your hair done, a lovely soak in the bath.. whatever you feel like!![strike] I trimmed my nails, but I'm not girlie so no polish. I did spend 30 minutes writing on my story. I'm making a book for my friends birthday, and I need to get on!
    Level Two
[strike]Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc[/strike] Tick
[strike]Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!![/strike] Tick
    Level Three
[strike]Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!![/strike]Tick
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
[strike]Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors[/strike]Tick
    Extra Task List
    • [strike]30 minutes ironing.. you love me & you know it![/strike]Tick
    Daily Tasks:
    [strike]Dishes[/strike]
    [strike]Brush dog
    [/strike]
    [strike]Walkies[/strike]
    [strike]Clean yard[/strike]

    To do list:
    [strike]Washing[/strike]
Wash and vacuum car. Check oil, tyre pressure etc.
Sort out the pile of [strike]junk[/strike] quality items that didn't sell at the boot sale.
Ring local paper and list some of ^^^ for sale. List rest on eBay.
[strike]Tackle my huge pile of ironing.[/strike]
    [strike]Sort & tidy thru my bedroom drawers.[/strike]
Start packing for Fri, or at least write a list.
Get some plaster mix & fix hole in the kitchen wall (made by poochie!)
Photocopy Driving Licence Photocard and post to car insurers
Post old Driving Licence back to DVLA

Well bedroom is all done, just a tiny bit of ironing to do tomorrow of the few things that are 'un-tumbledryer-able'. They are hanging around the house drying.

Bit miffed to see Master bedroom on list for tomorrow, as I only have 1 bedroom! (Whats a floordrobe??!?!) So I shall write my own list for tomorrow as the bathroom needs doing...

    Thursday
    Scrub toilet
    Scrub bath & tiles
    Scrub sink
    Wash windowsill
    Pack for Friday
    Finish ironing
    Wipe all other surfaces
Declutter shower stuff and put away in cupboard
    Clean oven

as well as my daily tasks.
