And the point of that statement is?
That's pretty ironic. You don't want those on the other side of the fence getting in and you certainly don't want them arriving in the UK. You have no idea what I want.Regardless, the point is that they are within the Schengen zone and yet can go no further. Good ol' FoM.
Tougher controls at EU borders and methods to restrict the travel of people who should be processed at their first safe landing is something I would've thought you'd support. Again, you have no idea what I want. Also again, the point is that they are within the Schengen zone and yet can go no further. Good ol' FoM. If they are free to travel within an EU country for whatever reason then FoM should apply; them's the rules.

“DIGI believes that closer collaboration and cooperation between businesses, representative bodies and the government, through local Brexit hubs and a national Brexit Business Board, will create real solutions that help drinks and hospitality businesses weather the coming Brexit storm and grow into a post-Brexit future.”

AfD leader quits party.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/sep/25/afd-leader-frauke-petry-quits-party-german-election-breakthroughPetry, on the moderate wing of the party, saw her role as that of uniting the AfD. But she has earned scorn from the rightwing nationalists who have become the stronger force, increasingly sidelining opponents within the party.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

Well the SPD ruled out a coalition with Merkel's CDU - and now the FDP have too so Juncker's request might take a while.Germany's FDP says won't agree to 'Jamaica' coalition at any price0 -

AfD not as united as some of the extreme right-wingers on this forum will tell you.

Hungary and Croatia
Slovenia and Croatia
Austria and Germany
Hungary and Slovakia.
So your wondrous non-laughing stock, non xenophobic EU seems to be putting up razor wire to keep others out.
The Visegrad group doesn't like refugees. Germany, Holland and others have lurched far more to the than the UK right politically (Dutch Conservative election narratives far more pungent than anything UK Tory part would have used).
But Britain is the inward looking intolerant laughing stock.....
Don't forget that there are also Austrian troops stationed on the Brenner Pass to stop people entering from Italy.0 -

Sorry about that. I had this vague idea, wherever it came from I don't know, that you didn't like non-EU citizens sneaking into the EU and then making their way to the UK.
If I wanted to beat the EU, and remain credible, then I'd suggest this was too little too late maybe. I note you've taken an alternative option of pointing out FoM comes with rules and exceptions which everyone, well nearly, knew already. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Annual immigration into the UK is expected to fall by 100,000 even if a smooth deal is agreed very quickly in the Brexit talks, according to economists at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) as a stronger eurozone economy encourages EU workers to stay put.
