And the amount of dolts driving on our roads.0 -
In Germany the doctors go on ambulances to road accidents. A German doctor was telling me how he went to one accident where a group of teenagers in a hot hatch had hit a bridge. He said it was like the scene of an IS execution. The heads had come off and they were trying to match them up with the bodies. It just makes you realise how people get worked up over terrorism but nobody bothers about road deaths. The answer as usual lies with technology. Google knows exactly how people drive. Whenever someone speeds the data should go straight to the police and their insurance company.0

Accidents happen. A tiny percentage will drive like idiots and have accidents.
Those same people would have killed themselves doing similar in a 1.2 Corsa. When i was younger i'd a friend die in a 90BHP fiesta and another in a 60BHP mini. A passenger was killed when his teenage mate crashed his Metro.
There are black boxes for inexperienced drivers. I think those should be mandatory for new drivers of ANY age.0 -
What's wrong with black boxes for all drivers?0
;73016579]No more discussion of road safety then?
More seriously, why on earth not, provided they're not identified individually?
Because it's an unrelated subject, one which does not belong here and I myself don't like to see it trivialised by left wing propaganda, which ultimately where this comparison with road accident/deaths comes from.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Germany? It's a good job that we have safer roads than Germany and most of the rest of Europe as well.I'd better not mention emissions related deaths then?
Yes, please tell us about them.0 -

I bet Fred is a lot of fun at parties.
Back to the topic though, just be weary of hooning the VXR from cold. Cylinder 4 if i remember right tends to run slightly cooler than the rest and it's not uncommon for them to crack pistons if driven hard or at higher miles.
They're one of the few smaller engined cars that sound quite good with aftermarket exhausts as well
