It's sad. 1.25 million people a year get killed by road traffic 'accidents'. Year after year it's the same. Mostly caused by stupid driving. Terrorists kill the odd 20 to 30 and people take note. How about motorists abiding by the rules.of the road. Do you really believe someone buying a Corsair VXR abides by speed limits?
Seems like you're in the wrong thread. All your base are belong to us.0 -
Despite your statistic being wildly inaccurate, I'd point out that 100,000 people a year die from smoking. It's sad. 1.25 million people a year get killed by road traffic 'accidents'. Nice little motors, I had the time equivalent in my yoof (Series 1 RS turbo).
I would advise him to have the front tints looked at, or the local plod will probably start being interested.Life isn't about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away. Like choking....0 -

Ok, seeing as you bought this up...........
Unfortunately 90% the terrorists come from a very small section of the population, around 5%, as to date they've all been male, so that's 90% of terrorists acts being committed within a fraction of 2.5% of the population.
I'd say those statistics are more worrying when you consider that over 65% of the population have a driving licence.
In numbers terms that 42 million versus 1.6 million people, if we roughly count deaths per head, that's not to be sniffed at.
I also don't think it right to use the deaths of innocent people as an arguing point on an open forum.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

No more discussion of road safety then?
More seriously, why on earth not, provided they're not identified individually?0 -
I used to own a Peugeot 106 GTI. It had very poor build quality but its the best car I've ever driven. A little pocket rocket

The reduction in the number of road deaths over the last 40 years has been amazing. Even more so when you consider the increased number of cars and miles covered.0
