Was in bed by 9.30pm and snoring by 10pm last night. Woke up at 5am feeling rather confused, as I had only gone up to put my phone on charge.

My day has consisted of fixing agricultural equipment, transporting a couple of bales of green hay, seed collecting and distributing.

Himself, however, spent the day packing, depositing gear with a friend who is driving down there the day before and will set the tent up and finalising arrangements for the weekend and next week. And, bless him, as I was coming back into town, he texted to say there was a pint waiting for me in the pub. I went full on Ice Cold in Alex on it after he'd had his fun in telling me I looked and smelled like I'd been living in a rabbit hutch. He's lucky I looked where I was putting my feet, or it would have been essence of sheep byre instead.

He is cooking, I am going to fall into the bath, eat loads of food and then tomorrow will be packing up the last things and nagging him about the essential pre holiday prep - making the bed up so it's fresh and perfect when we come back, getting everything that might turn evil in the kitchen out of the house (like I didn't just spend yesterday morning doing it whilst he snored) and ensuring we don't come back and find that we've run out of teabags and coffee
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Well I'm not quite sure where today has gone! But it wasn't spent cleaning bathrooms

Late home with kiddies tonight after visiting a friend who is moving away :( nice evening, kiddies had a cupcake - fuelled trampolinathon. Thankfully no one vomited  but a little sad about them moving.

Possibly won't be around tomorrow either, day out planned. Assuming the kids can get out of bed at a reasonable time after tonight!

Just had a quick whizz round kitchen so I don't have it all to deal with tomorrow, and now I'm off to bed too. Yawn!

I truly am a slatttern, Valli. My idea of the perfect day would be to spend it in bed with a never-ending pot of coffee, a never-ending box of chocolates, a pile of books and the radio, Devil Cat and Kelpie for company. And maybe the laptop. I need to get to grips with things.

Is that not normal? Gosh. No, it's coffee, kindle, tablet, chocolates and the conservatory for me..........slinks out.

Well while I'm here, I'll just say that this week has included the usual eclectic mix of just about keeping up with basics, lots of gardening, fruit picking, zumba, Mr T and other ......stuff....

    Morning all.

I did a big shop yesterday afternoon so the fridges are full again after their clean on Monday. And I also finally got through on the phone to the energy company to switch to a new 12-month fixed rate when my present one expires in a couple of weeks' time. Staying with the same company was what the MSE Cheap Energy Club advised :money:

Yesterday morning I let Rosie off the lead on the lane behind our house for a short time, when there was nobody else around, and in the evening she walked 1/4 mile off the lead, coming back to me for a treat every time I called her. I put her back on the lead going through the woods where the squirrels are a great attraction and then let her off again on the dog-walkers' field. She had a great time playing with some other dogs, and on the way home raced up and down the lane with great excitement. Such a joy to see! Mind you, she was really tired last night and still hasn't moved this morning from her usual spot in the study-bedroom: she's just lying there very relaxed.

Today I have a dental check-up and I need to do some more work on my assignment. Progress is veeeeerrrrrry sloooooooow, and I am fed up with being surrounded by piles of paper.

Onwards and upwards... Hope everyone has a good day x

    Morning all.
    DW x 1, WM x 2.
Am going to pop into work today, to take the cardboard, junk for junk modelling (I have been saving little boxes in prep for 'free choice'), clean scissors etc. So my dining room will be a bit clearer.
I might dust it when I get home!

    Hello

I'd like to jump back on the wagon please. It's been a while and the house bears testimony to that :o but I've been lurking and inhaled some of your motivation so I'm able to report that I'm on top of the pots and of the laundry.
My Dailies ( note to self: which are to be carried out DAILY =

    make beds
    WUDUPA
    feed birds
    put out rubbish/ recycling
    sort laundry

I'm also on a decluttering mission. I'm going to use your lists as a guide and have MAD sessions in appropriate room each day until actually following the lists is possible. eg your 'wipe dining table' will be my MAD 15 minutes x as many as it takes to 'unearth dining table putting stuff away not just moving it somewhere else until it ends up back on dining table'.

So looks like I'll be MAD in my bedroom today :T

    Thank you
