Woke up this morning and decided the house looked like an absolute midden!

So far I've emptied all bins in the house,
bleached and steam cleaned the kitchen ones,
watered and wiped all house plants
folded dry washing and put it away
    wm x2
    tidied bedrooms
MAD chipped off any loose plaster from around the windows in the bathroom, I was going to then fill them, but the filler has done a vanishing act,
super cleaned the bathroom, including all round the outside of the toilet pan and the bottom of the vanity unit,
    hoovered the stairs
stuck drain cleaner down every sink/bath hole in the house
    removed cobwebs from the bathroom
cleaned the long mirror in our bedroom of DD finger prints, and raspberry kisses :rotfl:
cleaned the dining table of crumbs
fed and watered DD, myself and the hound

Sitting down for a bit while DD naps, messing around with family tree stuff. Then it's back to it :o

I'd hoped to send Mr LW out for blackberries, but it's soggy-wet here, so that'll have to be postponed. He has, however, got around (with some prodding from me) to arranging to meet up with his friends A and P at the pub on Friday to raise a glass in memory of C, who passed away 10 years ago this Autumn.

Amazingly, it all seems to be staying clean and tidy here, so just "maintenance level" stuff needed doing - so I predict a game with Fudge's squeaky toy in the near future. No kidlets here, but does doing something nice with the doglet count, Valli? :D

HB I will put Devil Cat on my list for permanent pain-free vibes, if that's ok with you.

Confidence vibes for Rosie Dog too, Ionafan.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

doing something nice with anyone or anything counts. DD has gone out to do a voluntary shift at the hospice. DS is at work.

    Kitchen spotless.

    Afternoon folks X

    Weather is grotty here

Ds2 is playing on a game

I have sorted 2 shelves of the shelves of doom

    Ground floor dysoned
Bathroom S&s, scrubbed tiles and attempted deep cleaning of the loo.

I'm shuffling paperwork and shredding this afternoon.

    Anyone fancy a cuppa?

I'll join you Dancemum, even if I am a bit late. Just catching up with Fred before I tackle something Flylike.

Someone was wearing gloves this morning when I was out and about.
    Better is good enough.

Oh no. I have apparently reported something by leaning on my iPad. I tried to cancel it but that seemed to have reported it again.

How do I get out of this?

    Ps I'm so sorry x

    Good afternoon.

Sorry I missed the cuppa - kettle on now if you're up for a refill.

I dropped DD at her friend's at 9.30 this morning. Because of the weather, they cancelled their shopping plans, and I think they are going for a movie day and night. I pick her up in the morning. As I had a hair appointment, it wasn't worth coming all the way home, so I went to Mr M. YS fish and meat now duly in the freezer. That's ok as long as I remember to get it on the meal plans at some point.

Came home, put shopping away, DW running, stripped beds, WM running. DH has just got home, so I guess he is planning on taking up residence in the dining room judging by the paperwork which is being pulled out to deal with.

The kitchen doesn't look too bad, so I'll give that a quick going over now.

    Hi all

I have found someone to help out with job no. 2 a few hours a week - only temporarily but at least it gives me a bit of breathing space. This means that I have had time to do some ironing and walk the dog this afternoon without feeling madly stressed.

The new DW has arrived! I have discovered that washing, drying and putting it away takes a lot of time so cant wait for it to be plumbed in.

Going to see if DS1 fancies making a curry for tea, if not I will make a start!
